yes, i recently tested a lasoya timmy and a spyder imagine. The imagine just...lets just say it didnt meet my standards, the timmy on the other hand was a very great gun.

... and thats why I came up with the Lasoya Xtra. The ultimate spyder!!!!!1111

Edit: The idea was not my own (Tony3's idea I believe), but the photochop is.

          You diddnt get the joke

The only big difference between a spyder and an intimidator is the pnumatic ram replacing the hammer and spring.
Intimidators are WAYYY overpriced IMO. Sure, they are great, fast, guns, but the most they should be worth is $600.
Just buy a spyder for $50 and get the one kit and you have an intimidator (literally )

It is, and it isn't. A Mag's basic operation is also very similar to a Spyder when you look at it.

                      How do you figure that?
They are two completely different designs, in fact, the only thing I think is in common is maybe they both have sears, and even thats kind of streching it because the sear on a mag and the sear on a spyder are used for different things.
I suppose they both fire paintballs.

Except spyders are usually ugly as sin. I'm waiting for the flood of "The One'd" spyders to take over local fields and establish themselves as the greatest gun ever. Not.

And whats with all the East Coast Timmy hate? I went back east for IAO and all sorts of people were bashing on Timmys, calling them spyders and what not. Here everyone has one

And for the love of god it is aww-toe kaw-ker not at-taH kaH-KaH

An Intimidator is cool because Chris Lasoya shoots one!
The solenoid in the Intimidator is a big difference.

and that they are fast as shizzle. you wont get a faster rof from a spyder, no matter how fast you can pull the 20 lb. microswitch.

Hmmm...bout the only major difference is 1200 bucks. ALthough I have to admit I do like the look of the Species Timmy but I can't justify the cost when I could pick up another X-Mag for the same price and have one for each hand.

                              WANG Force!

OMG, i was trying to stay out, but no, i cant...

A spyder cycles, FULL CYCLES at 30 cps. And you can now buy a 50 g microswitch. nobody can pull thier fingers as fast as anygun can really cycle, so why even bother with that?

And to answer the orignal question from Sucidal, the only real difference is the ram. The boards are different, yeah, but I dont trust WAS. And also, the oe kit, from empire, is a kit that turns a spyder into a BKO. It is ram driven forward, and spring driven backwards. Not ram air both ways, just one way. Reall not worth it. Also comes with a reflector-beam eye... break beams are better, and can be bought cheaper.
