Camo or no Camo The heated Debate

Ok Im sure this has been done at some time or anouther but I couldnt find it so here it goes. Do you play with cammo or no cammo? Personally I do I honestly think I blend in more but let us all know what you think about it!

To camo or not to Camo that is the question.

I don't actually wear cammo but I wear the right colors for the game... Kinda like cammo but still not as affective.

if Im playing in the woods Im wearing camo. but if Im playing speedball then I ll wear whatever. I dont want to GLOW in the woods. Camo helps in the woods and doesnt do a darn thing out of it. The field I play at has both types of fields. So I ll generally wear soome camo or maybe just dark clothing like brown or green. Camo is my favorite color though

It really depends on your style of play and the type of game being played. Camo on an airball or hyperball field is just plain silly, and a scnario game being played in the woods is not the best place to be wearing a bright yellow or orange jersey.... It really depends.

Well, when I started playing, it was all recball (which is still what i play, much more fun). And I owned the jungle cause all my friends own their spiffy JT jereseys which make them easy to spot. But then I got my own. I still where camo from time to time, but usually the pants only.

Overall, its really useful for the patient players. Ive sat in one spot for 25 minutes, barely moving, except to drink a little water, and then, when the other team made their final rush, I dropped 5 of them. And no one even shot at me. Honestly, Im sure they would've noticed me with my crap spyder, but the came was definately useful.

In tourney games, camo is generally banned to demilitarize it. Not like I care, cause Im not much a tourney player.

In the end, its really up to personal preference. For those who patiently sit and drop players calmly without sprinting to the front lines, camo is definately a bonus. But if you're always running, then I suggest getting a jesery, so you can look spiffy getting shot.

I like wearing the pants. Usually I play with muted colored clothing anyway. It makes me harder to spot, that and the warp feed make me extremely hard to hit even if you did see me.

BDU pants all the time. Mostly because I have a couple pair and they last basicly forever. I like that they are cargo style. I can carry my pull squeege in one of the pockets. And my barrel plug stays in the other with out falling out. I usually just wear a slightly oversized olive green t-shirt. I will put on a few layers if it's cold.

Tho I was just looking at the cargo pants JT has. They look nice. I may have to try a pair.

                            OLD SCHOOL RULES

I am old school. I love camo regardless of what others say.
Hell, you can even consider me to be in the "right-wing" of the paintball politics. Over the years of playing, I do get comments from other players left and right about the negative impact I have on paintball 'cause the way I dress.
They argued that by wearing military BDU, the public would view this sports as a violent and militant type of sport. Well, if that's the case, I think regardless of what we wear, running around with a gun and shoot each other is not going to help on making a positive impression anyways. The public just need to understand and make some comparisons in terms of a violent and militant sports.

Nowadays, I wear a black Renegade top with a camo pants. I don't think it's going to conceal me much during games anyways since I run around mostly. But I personally like the style and the comfort. I stayed away from expensive jerseys with a huge JT or DYE logo on it 'cause I don't want to look like a walking advertisment.

currently I'm wearing BDU bottoms and whatever t-shirt is lying on the floor.

But the bottoms are almost due to be retired, so I guess I'll look into some new pants. I'm personally thinking about going into some military surplus type place and picking up some cheap european pants. I think it is the swiss mountaineers or someone who have red/white/black camo.
