AGD v. SP, lawsuit and the "darkside" of AO...

So I have been thinking lately why SP has not come AGD's way yet? AGD has one crazy owners group and I would hate to see the AO hate come after SP.....

If you thought AKA owners were loyal.....

SO I pose the question: What will AO do when SP marches AGD into court?

Personally I will look at my mechanical mags, curse SP a little bit, curse the electro crazy kids that overshoot me, consider it a bit, then shrug and not care . But that's just me.

All AGD loyals will gather outside the courthouse wearing AGD, AO, and screw Smart Parts shirts. We will elect one member(me) to run into the courthouse with a flaming torch of AO's fury and light it aflame if SP wins. Then everyone will live happily ever after.

I for one would send in a donation to try and help pay for lawyers to screw Smart Parts over. I'm sure we have prior art which supposedly makes the patent void, but don't quote me on that.

Has SP's officially 'won' a case against anyone except ICD yet?

I dunno but i think this SP patent thing I think will help in the technology of electronic markers. Cuz now the SP competition must do a better and diferent electronic marker design i think.

But sincerely i dont care anymore about the SP patent thing.

if you're that loyal to AGD, you will show your support for AKA so SP can set a prescidence against AKA in court. if they roll over a small company like AKA, imagine what they would to to AGD.

no, SP and ICD settled out of court. nobody as actually gone to court with SP yet.

I really don't see how this will greatly affect AGD. They could always temporarily pull their electro line from the market. Unlike companies like AKA and ICD, AGD has a line of mech markers to keep them from going belly up. Mechanical markers make up the majority of AGD's sales.


Or they can make up a new name for a solenoid, call it that, patent that, and avoid a lawsuit.

but yeah i think Agd will do Fine, like p8ntball said agd could pull in the emag and xmag and just make Mech guns. Im sure that if we took and put together a nice redesigned Xmag body, and some more tweeking of a new kinda ult it could really rip. (nicads frame anyone?)
