I dont know if this has anything to do with it, but i think alot of paintballs roots and beginings are on the east coast. specifically, National Paintball Supply and Redz are based out of NJ. since automags were one of the first guns, they are popular in this part of the country.

anyone else have a thought on that idea?

Speed Kills.........but so does everything else only slower

East Coasty - Drab, boring styling. Usually having excessive parts that ruin the smooth lines.

        Eww Redz....Dye is better.

Is this true? If so, why?

The reason I have been going around asking is that I am getting a minimag this week and have been wanting to get information on them. They can't tell me anything about them. I have found more information on the 'net in one minutes time than they could tell me in an entire visit.

I thinks it's more a mid-atlantic thing. I played in MA for four years, and I could count the number of mags at my local field each weekend on one hand.

AGD is well-represented here in the Midwest, at least in Illinois and Wisconsin.

I see more 'Mags at Paintball Sam's Big Games than I did at Shatnerball playing on the Borg and Raider teams.

When mags and cockers were the two hottest guns you could buy, cockers were rampant on the west coast as were mags on the east coast. And they're still slowly spreading out, even though they're not as popular anymore.

I see very little by me but there is a lot of mag stuff in Stamford and they have the advertisements for the RT PRO package thing. Its the most I have seen represented in a proshop.

Midwest-True ballers, not worried about looks. And they just rock, and we are the toughest of them all! How many other people are playing in 0* temps?
