Modern paintball is a mixture of one part testosterone, two parts adrenaline, two parts posturing, three parts high BPS, two parts immaturity, and a large dose of attitude. Mix it together and you get a typically volatile combination.
Thats why I vote against allowing DMWs. Whether its legal or not, justifiable or not, it can quickly lead to rash actions due to the nature of paintball and paintballers.
Tyger, you stated yourself that some refs are ineffective. Most paintballers want immediate gratification and considering the maverick nature of the sport, I'm only surprised vigilante justice doesn't occur more often.
