the emag only draws 3 amps... BUT.... well, a 30 mAh battery wouldnt even begin to move the solenoid. no way in hell. And if, somehow, it managed to cough up the juice, it would only last for like 100 shots. tops.

5c... My idea of high discharge rate is.. oh.. 12c? something like that. I remember discharging my 1700mah batterys in 5-10 minutes. *grins* Those things would get HOT. And there were times the amp draw would peak over 40-50 amps. Mmmm power.

so.. to build an emag battery. you would need 16.8 volts. 5 cells. 18 volts.

To charge them properly, youd need 5 seperate lipoly chargers. OR a very closely matched pack. The cells are to expensive to match like that however ;-) So I think that the multiple charger is ideal.

You'd only need a 10 pin connector to do the charger right. have the charger engage 10 pins as seperate cells to charge, and on the gun use the 10 pins. but wires to make the cells in series. :-)

Make a lighter and smaller battery!!

I personally dont care, and actually like the looks of my new emag w/ batt pack.. but at the field yesterday, my teammates car didnt start.

you want to know what the first thing that came from anothers teammates mouth? "Hey use Dan's battery on his emag. that thing is probably big enough to jump your car"

          and it worked.

If you went camping with your Emag with the new Paper Batteries, you'd always have paper to start a fire with. And i guess you could use the stock barrel to stir up the fire.
