How much paint did you use at Texball?

1. How much paint did you use overall?

2. What was your paint usage during a single game?

I used a TON less than I expected. All weekend, I used just over a case. maybe 2500.

In individual games, I think I only dumped more than one pod like twice. Usually, I'd finish the game, and toss a handfull of balls into my hopper.

I bought 2 cases... shot about 1.5 cases the rest went to filling my teammates pods while I was coaching on day 2.

If my SFL was totally together for it I would of bought/shot another case

I shot 2 cases, all but maybe 300 rnds were used for xball, and the 300 for some recball with mango, mangoo, and then some of the locals..

i used just under 2500 rounds. the most i used in one game was a hopper +2 pods.

3800esh for the weekend... I was REALLY conservitive most of the time to be honest, if I could have afforded another case I would have prolly used most of it as well...

most games I used between a hopper and hopper +2... a couple games I used hopper+3-4 pods... but that was rare..

I shot about one case. I only reloaded in two game. most games I went though a half a hopper

I used about 1400 rounds (not couting the 100 rounds I dumped on the ground when my hopper flipped open on the bench )

Most I used in a single game was about hopper + 2.

Hrm, some variance in paint usage.

I used 650 rounds all Saturday. I never emptied my hopper; the one pod I did carry out with me to the field was never pulled out of the pack; it's still sitting in my living room full of paint right now.


There's been talk in other threads about the "future of paintball" and blah blah blah, and oddly enough, there seem to be signs that we're no longer going down the same path as before. These games can be won without huge volumes of paint. It appears that X-Ball and NPPL are trying to get rid of the hardcore "back players". I immediately noticed this when I walked the X-Ball field for the first time.





Maybe we're coming out of the age of trench warfare.
