Well, I know macro is generally safe. But the way I play, it's bound to breach the integrity of the line sooner or later. I just say "Why mess with matches if you don't want a fire?" But yea, just me.

Oh yea, Big n' Slo....great sig. FORD POWER!

        heres my stupiity story

when i first got my WONDERFUL mag i wanted to take it apart again after i used it. well i took the trigger frame off first not realizin what i was doin and my valve was stil in the body.i was like opps ok i will just take it out.so i went to take it out and it was stuck i was like WTF? i kept pullin and turning and sure enough it came out although the spring flew out and hit my about 1/8 an inch under the eye.i was like SOB and i put it back together and didnt mess with until the next day. i put some air in it the next day and found out thats those 8 little piece from my valve where all over the ground.I learned my lesson to ALWAYS take ur valve out of ur body before u take the trigger off.

Macro sucks. Yeah it is quick and cheap but it gets old and breaks or is misused. I am guild of running 1500psi through a 300 rates hose (something like that) poped and made me def for an hour or so. SS is just as easy with quick disconnects and you can make it look good with shrink wrap. I think it looks better myself. My bro and I love straight connections and ss is all we use.

                    Macro??

Parker macro is the only way to go, I had a fitting blow on an angel, the lock colar from the fitting ended up going thru another Techs shirt and sticking into his chest.

Never ever work on your marker while others that are not involed are watching. Its not the accident you expect that gets you its the one you dont...

                      Macroline is the devil

Anyone ever have any trouble with SS hose? Any malfunction or accidents? I have never heard of one myself.

Also how often should you replace SS hose? When it gets worn looking or after a certain period of time?

I had an old piece of SS line form a bubble right before the threaded end. It didn't pop or anything but my dad took it off of my old mag and cut the hose in half and threw it away. This was almost 10 years ago and SS lines are probably made a little better now. Also at Survival New York about 6 years ago a kid with some type of blowback had some type of weird expansion chamber set up had one of the 90 degree elbows split on the end where the hose screws into. Upon closer inspection after the big cloud of co2 cleared and everyone made sure everybody in the vicinity was alright, we all noticed that the walls of the fitting were extremely thin.
