Don't play with a suckey back player. Make sure your back players always communicate and tell you were they are. Make sure they know how to play.
its the little things that make you win

Oh Yeah one I always forget. Make sure that your hopper and all other essential electronic equipment is turned on.
You should also have everyone on your team practice shooting with both hands. This is an important and hard skill to master.Comment

These are great tips guys I have copy and pasted most all of these into an email and sent them o my fellow teamates."If we aren't supposed to eat animals...why did God invent BBQ sauce?" - Army

Wow man, how much paint do you usually use in a single game?
And is that the official definition of 'ghosting'? I've always called one of my moves 'ghosting' -- when I move completely undetected, and the other team winds up shooting at my 'ghost' in the now emptied bunker.

I have a few thoughts for you back players:
1) Off the break, you are shooting down your lane as fast as you can. Getting to your bunker is usually no more than 10 feet so you can walk it.
2) Don't try and follow the people off the break; that is what the shooting lanes are for. Usually on the left and right side of the field there is a lane that 2 perhaps 3 people will have the run through to get in position. Just repeatedly empty your hopper on there; almost always gets you 1 or 2 people.
3) If you are not shooting, you are reloading
4) YOU are the eyes of your frontman. YOU need to be the most vocal and REPREATEDLY call out everyone's position you can see even if you said it before
5) Ghosting. This applies to anyone on the team but it's very handy. When one person on your team moves, you or someone else on your team moves a split second later. Just when the other team sees the first man move, someone else pops up in a different part of the field. It can buy you the time and your teammate the time to get in during the confusion.
6). Don't force your way out of the bunker. As a backman you will be exchanging hoppers with the other backmen. If a hail of fire pushes you in on one side of your bunker, don't fight it, go to the other side.
7) When your team moves up, YOU move up too. Just because you are the backman does not mean you sit in the back, you advance with the team.
8) Even if you cannot see anyone from where you are, put a few balls at each bunker. It keeps em on their toes.
That's most of what I can thin of."Accuracy by aiming."
Definitely not on the A-Team.Comment

Remember the you can also move laterally and moving forward is not always the best move. Sometimes by moving a bunker or two to the side gives you the angle you need.
You don't always need to run, I am always surprised how many times near the end of a game you can walk quickly up the tape to great position.Fly A4

lol, i almost never remember this, one game i kept smaking my warp, thining that the vibration sensor wasnt picking up.... it was turned off (installed on/off switch) also, make shure you have all your stuff, one of my back men is a good player, but once he forgot to put his pack on and another time, he didnt even have his tank on his gun!! lol, i rember, wehn he didnt put on his pack, i was shooting at a guy, and he tore up the field past me and grabbed the flag. I was like WTF!?! he just turned around and shouted "i forgot my pack, then our code for no paint" i ran up, gave him 2 pods, and we won the gameOriginally posted by Head knight of Ni

you dont always have to be in your bunker, that is right up next to it. as long as there is a bunker between you and them they cant shoot you. wether that bunker is 6 inches from you or 10 feet from you so backing off from your bunker might give you an angle or a shooting lane that you dont have if you are playing very tight on your bunker.

to address the above post.
remember you can shoot people that you can not see. If some one has an angle and tells you to shoot somewhere, DO IT. I have shoot out people I have never seen by lobing over bunkers and dropping paint on them when someone on my team told me to shoot there.
Just remember it is mostly a game of angles and a lob shot is an angle too.Comment

yeah I did that great last time at my local field (lobbing over a bunker that is) this kid we were with kept popping up over his bunker(corregated sewer pipe) so I was having real bad shoot down on my Classic so I lobbed on over and hit him. He said afterwards that it just bounced off of his goggles. But we call ourselves out even on bounces.

when you bunker someone always shoot two or three balls nothing is worse then one timing a guy having it bonce and then having them shoot you in the back or then come over the top and bunker you. i learned that one the hard way

get ready for the next game right after you finish a game. hit the air on the way back to your table, clean up and load, make sure your marker is chrony and game ready, hydrate. you can chat and b.s. later.
think ahead, make it easier on your teamates to get set up.
know the rules!
try this drill: get everyone in thier starting positions, have someone help you out by calling 10 seconds and go go go...try to beat the go signal and get off the break as soon as possible and as a unit. each man key off the other.
you can designate a man to time the 10 seconds on his wristwatch and key in on him. a split second or two can get you to your first bump and miss being laned.
each man should know where his position is and be at the right place in the start bunker automatically.
Florida peeps...step up!!
