haha, this is the smartest person i have ever seen, no sarcsm. he took a tioppmann m98 custom, slapped a 20$ 21" barrel on it, a 20% scope, a 20$ stock, and sold it for a thousand dollars. what a genius! people actually bid on it! he is so smart! a 200$ investmaent sold for a thousand dollars. OK, math time!

Let's see here.....two football fields (not counting endzones) = 200 yards.

200 yards = 600 feet.

Speed of sound, at sea level, at 70 degrees F = 1129 fps.

If you're 600 feet away, you'll hear the "very loud" gun fire .53 seconds after it does.

If he's shooting some type of magic paintballs that are not affected by air friction or wind, and you're playing safe by shooting 300 fps, seems to me that you'll have a second and a half to dodge. Add in real life factors such as wind, etc, and the time is a LOT longer. You can pretend to be Neo and dodge the ball.

I'm a little too lazy to look up air resistance numbers. But common sense tells me that the ball would have to leave the gun at rifle-like velocities to make it that far, and at those speeds I don't think a plastic mask is going to help you very much.

Someone do the math. Please. I can't find my physics book.

Sounds to me like this guy is selling a FIREARM on eBay, which is against the rules.

And when was the last time you saw 600 feet of clear woods to shoot through? I think that's called a field.
