AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
Pretty much the big difference on the stock '04 is they made them pretty and got rid of the brass.
My suggestion if you want a mechanical cocker would be to look for a used Orracle. That way you really can leave it the way it is, even the barrel is good.
The thing that I hate about the stock bodies is no threaded feed neck. It may not bother you too much but the only WGP cockers that have a threaded neck are the Orracle, Black Magic and VF Tactical.
Cockers can become money pits. Becareful. All my E Orracle is now is pretty much a body. There isn't one thing left that actually came with the marker. I would honestly say if you do get one keep the stock valve. You really do not have to change it just make sure you sweetspot your reg/marker for efficiecy.

True.. Well I would probably want a threaded feedneck so that is some good info. As for the barrel. I have a 14'' pipe that I use with my Omen, so I would probably use that with the cocker as well - Maybe get a 12'' tip. I also have a 12'' Dye that I have had great luck with as well.. I defintely have some time to think about it because I'm still deciding if i should buy the cocker to screw with or dump some money into some parts for the mag i want to build.. Ultimately, I want to have my Omen, a mechanical y-gripped mag pimped out, and possibly a cocker..
Another option is that you can always thrown on an E Blade. Anyone from SOCAL AO or some of them form NORCAL AO will tell you how fast I'm able to rip on my E Orracle...though I did mess with it alot.

What's a used Orracle go for? I love the look of them and from I gather they are great performers.. I probably wouldn't worry about an eblade yet. my omen is plenty fast.

Speaking of this.. The Superstock Autococker is an eBlade on a 03 Vertical w/ upgraded STO pneumatics.. Is this worth the $599? I mean, it's the same price as an Orracle.. Performance wise, how are the two?
The superstock is an Eblade no matter how you look at it. There are only a few things you can change.
1. I like the STO lpr better than the Tickler. I've seen way too many problems on the tickler.
2. STO is decent you can always upgrade later.
3. No threaded feed on the Superstock
4. Crappy barrel on Superstock but you have a pipe
5. Stock reg is so so. The BM on the Orracle is pretty good.
6. Stock valve is fine the Orracle has a stainless version of the stock that's it same specs.
It really depends what you want. Do you want mechanical or electro?

I guess that's what I have to figure out. I mean, I have a Omen already so it's not like I'm not in the 'electro' game.... I am planning on sticking entirely mechanical on my mag.. Another mech might be nice but I would be getting a better marker with the orracle -- which is always upgradable later for $300 with an 'e' kit... Decisions decisions... I'm starting to feel like there may be more to change going from the SS to a better eblade than from an orracle to a e-orracle.
