    Timmy experts, Alias v Empire

Besides the 200 dollar price difference, is there anything besdies milling that makes them different?

I have read a few threads were some folks claim they get a case out of a 68/4500, is this right?

it seems not. i believe its pretty much milling. As for the efficiency, i have no real numbers, but its quite good. either one absolutly rips.

:o Thanks for the concern. I think I can swing it either way. Just trying to make sure I know what my extra 2 bills are going towards.

Milling and shape of LPR. Both have a Frenzy board, but the Alias is lighter and has a better stock trigger. Not to mention cheaper.

the only diffrence is milling, snatch grips, and maybe warrenty. from personal experience w/ the alias, it is one hell of a gun. very smooth cycleing with ball on top of ball and no kick.i would highly recomend it. alias all the way empire= ugly.

suprised noone mentioned this already... The alias is smaller and feels more akin to an 03shocker in balance/weight while the Empire feels a standard 2k2 timmy. Other than that, they have the same board, grips, eyes, and so that it for NOTICABLE differences.

There are not any major differences between the two; mainly you are paying for the Empire name and the complex milling on the gun.

I don't know about a case off a 68.45, but I do know the efficiency is sweeeet.

if timmys are just like spyders, i want to see people shooting 16+ bps on them with "special" trigger job or anything. also if they were, why is it that bad company is the only team(that i know of) using spyders!

timmys are lighter, faster, more efficient.

                        I own both.

The Alias comes with a smaller LPR guage than the Empire.

The Alias's body is about .5" to 1" shorter than the Empire.

The Alias's ram cap does NOT use an oring.

The Alias's bolt is MUCH shorter than that of the Empire.

The Alias feedneck is moved back slightly.

Alias LPR is much shorter than that of the Empire (and doesn't need a volumizer)

                        Hope that helped.

What kind of numbers do you get on a full 68/4500?

Haven't shot the Alias yet since National screwed me over by shipping it with a screwed up LPR guage.

However on a 68/3900 fill on the EMPIRE I get about 1200-1300 shots chrono'd at 290fps, LPR at 75psi, and using a 12" scepter matched to paint.

Go with the alias--cheaper, lighter, and MUCH easier to clean off.

Yeh, the Alias is definately a very sweet marker. If we really need numbers I think that big know it all Simon might have something to say. Not like he designed the Empire or anything .
