Yeah, that's about what the spyder can do. Why get a halo when my q loader will still feed as fast, not for a long period of time though..

Actually, the Q-loader can feed faster longer. Sure it holds less, but my HaloB already eats through batteries like crazy, imagine getting it to feed %50 faster! I'm going to need a 6+1 battery pod. Plus, the Q-loader is lighter anyway...my halo runs on what...20 or 30 AA batteries (I guess it's one for each BPS :)

How can your Q-loader feed faster and longer, if it holds 40 balls less?

          Oh and it's 6 AA's.

The Qloader feeds the exact same. Advertised 35 bps if I Recall, and it doesnt feed longer because it holds 70 balls less. Halos DONT eat through batteries either, I havent changed mine since sometimes last year, and I play very very often. 6 Double A's as well.

Back on topic, I cant wait till I can get this. I will show off some 25-30 bps awesomeness with debounce 1

As for not being able to out shoot a regular halo, its not that hard. No, im not just making things up like most forum goers do, I can, quite often mind you, make my eyes kick in while im shooting my viking.

aww common now, you cannot make a string of great claims like that and not back them up!

When I told people I could do 23bps on my Mech RT and outshoot the Halo they didn't believe me. You gotta show some video so we can sound test it and see how fast you got going! I am however inclined to believe that you can outshoot it from the exebitions I have seen by Steelrat.

The going a year without changing the batteries though.... that's a might big claim.

A year without changing?! Woh, what kind are those? Seriously, I'd like to know b/c those darn Energizer or Duracell Titianiums don't last for crap after a couple good long days of playing. I need to find a way to rig it with the lithium-ion batteries I run my cameras off of...they'd last way longer, and couple of my batteries are actually smaller than the 6 AAs (some of the digital still-camera batteries anyway). As for 35...I want to see it in full-auto w/o a chop...I mean, nobody can pull that fast semi, it's damn near impossible (ask how many bass-players can pull 32nd notes for longer than a fraction of a second, and you'll get about the same number...0). However, seeing that in full auto would be quite cool. I've watched videos of guns cycling at 40-60 or something around there, but seeing it shoot, that'd be awesome. Somebody needs to get this thing and make an awesome video...would be very nifty to watch...talk about laning.

Last time I changed my halo batteries was right before the memphis indoor in december.

Z-man - your correct. I will try to sometimes. Steelrat seems to shoot about like me

I have a relatively quick trigger finger, just fortunate I guess. :)

they sell lithium ions for remote control cars, but with 6 AA cells of them, youll have 21.6 to your hopper, 1 cell is 3.6 volts, where i get them, i think. wouldnt that many volts break your hopper? or would it make it feed faster?

However, I think there is definately a point of diminishing returns. I think that point is probably around 10-12. Therefore shooting more than 12 rounds a second is just waisting paint and at $.025 a round firing 35 rps is wasting more than $.50. Not to mention the amount of cost necessary to get a marker, air, and feed system that performs that fast.
Yeah that makes sense....not. Fire 35 balls at something, and then fire 10, you have a better chance of hitting something at 35 bps, whether you like to admit or not.

                      Edit for spelling

                        Exactly. Simple probability teaches that.

On another note, I wonder how much a free-cycling spyder recoils....maybe a bipod is in the works after I get that Halo board.

I'm not really sure what it would do if you gave it too much juice. It would either make it run really fast, or burn out the motor (option 2 is more probable I'd think). Maybe it's worth try on a revvy or some cheap motorized hopper and see what happens, but I bet it would just burn it out. I'm going to ask a friend who is more of an electrician than I.

SP likes spreading its feces all over the place... my halo also had a SP logo on it until I sanded it off. Back when Oddesey was small SP was a distributor of the halo. That is all...
