Thanks for the compliments. Nice to hear people still dig it, cause everyone around here has seen plenty of it :P

I was thinking about putting new grips on it this year, now you've convinced me. Wood grain just aint cool anymore. I did pick up a shiny chrome trigger pant for it last season, too. But never stuck it on yet.

Can the Level 10 run on CO2?
The ULT is something I would send somewhere to get done? Or drop in?

And unfortunately, I have to ask. Dumping a pile of money into this will get me better performance than my ~1999 STO Autococker?

Yes it runs on CO2. Yes its a dropin. Yes, a bit of money could make this a better gun than your STO, ESPECIALLY if you managed to get HPA and an Xvalve.

Well that last question (which is the product of your last few) can really only be answered by trying out a Mag with such upgrades.

As I have stated before, I am not partial to the ULE Trigger upgrade. It does make the Mag a bit more tempermental and not quite as rubust. It also makes it a bit easier to chuff. Try one out to see if you like it.

As for the LVL10, I think that is the single greatest upgrade AGD has put out for the Mag yet and even if you ONLY bought that, I think you would find a new love for the reliability of that old baby.

Edit: Bah you beat me again Squiddy!
I would also say that ideally the HPA would be a great performance boost even if you stuck with the Classic Valve

I dont like the ULT either, but for some reason a classic valved single trigger mag would benefit from the ULT, even though I dont really like it. Heck, its only 40 bucks or something.

Oh, of course I beat you. I cant be beat

I'm not willing to sacrafice any reliability. I'm suprised I've stuck with a 'Cocker the last couple years. I seriously thought it would be a phase that ended in frustration.

I know there's a scuba group in town. What sort of information/gear do I need to approach these guys?

What sort of value would you place on this if I were to sell it instead of try to upgrade it?

Can you point me in the direction of a website that has the Level 10 upgrade for sale?

              We shall see....

              Doa! must act fast!

the website you can find it all at is AGD's online store found here:

AGD makes sells the lvl10 Upgrade as well as the X-Valve (an aluminum RT valve) that only runs on HPA.

The reasons that people choose to upgrade to the X-Vlave is for both the increased rates of fire that the valve is capable of (like my popular rapid-fire video and because of the RT's reactive trigger that aids your ability to pull off higher ROF's.

                CRAP!

AKK! Looks like you missed something...

To fill tanks, you only need the scuba tanks (I would recommend 3) and the fill station. The fill station can be found for about 40 dollars at places like www.actvil.com, and tanks are something like 80-100 dollars.

Filling them is easy, and only costs about 5 bucks.

Oh, without a divers license you will need to tell them its for paintball. Explain its common practice to do it if they argue with you.

That's freaking insane, man. There's nothing up here close to that ROF.

I'm going to have a good look into the HPA scuba thing.

If anyone is serious about buying it, please email me at [email protected] with their tentative offer. If I see that this thing isn't worth much anymore, I'll probably hang onto it. If it's enough for a raceframe for my STO or a shiny new E-Mag maybe I'll consider it

Bah! I might have to make you an offer nothing like that as a compliment to my SFL. Let me think on it

Where do you recommend to send this and another Micromag to get the level 10 and a tune-up done, then? Maybe I'll throw in the Minimag, too.

Edit: Canada is better for me, but I realize that might not happen

You could do it yourself, its not that hard if you follow the instructions.

Or if you want a nice complete tune up. Send it to AGD. This would need to be confirmed but I suspect AGD would honor the "first time free" policy on this Mag. If you send it in to have the LVL10 put on you could also have it completely rebuilt free of charge. That would be a nice icing on the cake as AGD does a great job in returning tuned and ripping markers.

Make sure you call them up and get a return autorisation number if you do.

My other Micromag has used up all of it's chances for me to get it running. I'd rather send it to someone who does it for a living and know it's done properly. There's nothing really "wrong" with my Lightning, but I dont feel terribly confident in how many ever years of use with a couple of parts kits in maintinence.
