You will have to wait at least till your 16 cause then your basically over ruling them size wise, strenghth, and your also older so they shouldnt have to complain 'bout not being responsible for your actions. Just play, they don't have to know. If you have a job you have funding. When i was 14 I was playing and my parents didn't know till I was 16 and they were against it but I didn't care. They couldn't stand in the way of my love. Now I'm almost 19 and I tell ya it just gets better every year.

I have the money to fund myself... I'm getting a job and I'm gonna start to do paintball stuff against their will after febuary... I'm gonna give them some time and ask again in feb to see if I can play more... I'm planning on buying a used mag from someone and buying nitro from someone during that "no paintball" time...

I'm sorry, but don't use "punk" and "KORN" in the same sentence. It insults us true punks. There are two types of paranoid parents in paintball.

1. The Red Rider BB gun kind. "You'll Shoot Your Eye out!"

2. The ones worried about $.

Now, when I first mentioned paintball, my parents wern't very bothered, but I still talked baout all the safty and stuff... And they figured, I guess, it was safe since I talked about all the SAFTY GEAR...
Now I only have one thing to the ones that worry baout money (these are normally the parents of the 15-17 age group, they have $ to spend and the parents are worried about hteir finacing in the future.)
All I can say to these people is how much it can help their kid.
It will give them resposibility (taking care of a $300+ peice of equipment teches alot). It will show them teamwork. If they vist forums like AO (Deep Blue to be specific), they might learn a little about physics and establish a link between fun and math. And most importantly, it will keep them away from other, potentially dangerous things that, if they wenrt out playing PB, they could get cuaght up in on the street... like drugs. If you just spent 1100 on a new E-Mag.. I doubt your still gonna have money laying around to buy drugs. Who would want to. Shooting a mag, or any other marker is enough to get ya high.

My parents computer isn't hooked up to the net. My parents don't know how to use a computer very well. I can afford everything myself. I tell them the safey measure and I practice them. They still don't like paintball because they don't understand the idea is to have fun, not to try and "kill" people...

The drugs thing wouldn't work... My parents are threatening to kick me out of the house if I get an F in class... I mean, what would they do if they found out I was on drugs?

And yes, I have been intentionally locked out of the house for prolonged periods of time...

Im not trying to be an "Azzhole" but really it seems you really want to get into paintball like SERIOUS paintball. Which is cool and fine, but your complaining about your parents not listening to you. Ever reply you get to help is eather...I tried it it didnt work or nah that wont work or,,,something 'long those lines. Like if you know nothing is going to work. Stop Complaining and get up off your tush and go do something about it (if you can ) plus also this mite have to be a sneaky weaky maneuver or a time maneuver if you wanna earn your parents respect to paintball the honest way.

I was in 5th grade when I started playin. I asked when I was in 4th but they said no, so I started spending all my free time on a computer to the point where they were begging me to do something outside. Then in 5th grade I brought up paintball again and the first thing they asked was if it was outside and then when i told em they said yes really quick and i bought a talon before they could change their minds:). Thats what I think you should do, but it does take a lot of really good games to not let u be so bored.
