I love the hAir trigger, but I don't want any pneumaics for the trigger.
MAGS obsolete!

Level 7 mags don't chop too much if fed properly. I have a lvl 7 automag with a standard (non-agitated) hopper, and a powerfeed body. I put about 50 rounds in the hopper and fired them as fast as I can, and no chops at all. The way it was made, with the STOCK FRAME the Automag is very difficult to make chop. It is obvious other upgrades are needed if upgrading the frame for a higher rof, but just because a mag has a lvl 7 bolt does not mean it chops a lot.Originally posted by WARPED1No argument that todays mags are far far from obsolete. It's just the old classic valved level 7 chopo-mags.:)
I'm looking for a nice ULE Emag again.
I have never chopped with mine (haven't had it long, but still).

He got waxed by a mag!!
Lets face it, the guy got painted by a mag. Not once, but 5 times whe he vowed to himself that he would win
AGD designs the most reliable markers on the market. I started shooting one in 92 (serial number 09988) and haven't tried anythig else since....there has been no need to. Of course, personal preference plays into the choices for markers but they are far from obsolete and AGD continues to strive to improve. I have seen very few people here (Las Vegas) who shoot a mag and that might be marketing. But as I play more, I get more inquires about them and people are impressed by their reliablity and simplicity (I'm old school and still shoot mechanical). I've been to 3 different fields and everyone now wants one. I took about 3 years off and have gone straight back with upgrades. Bottom line, when it comes to the top profile markers, some people rely soley on the reputation of their marker, others rely on their ability to use the marker. It sounds like that guy thought he could storm a beach alone and take it just by running next to his marker. Once again, mag proved him wrong. Let him stay in the cave...in the end it benefits us!!

Yeah, they would like me to buy something off there shelf, but if it isn't mag I'm sorry. The first time I ever played was in 94. I had a field tippy and I was out gunned by a group of cockers. In painful defeat I asked what to buy to defeat cockers and I was told automags. Thus I bought a spider se. I couldn't afford a mag at the time, but I did adventually. Not just any mag, but the RT the best there was at the time. Damn I hate cockers, but they're not as popular anymore also. I'm not an expert at stats, polls, hits and counters of web sites/threads, But this hair trigger thing is cool and WOW fast. I think anyone who views the video will want one. And who better to have such a thing, but AGD of course. Mags are unique. After all they don't look like a spider when alot of the others do. The mag will make a comeback and I hope to be a very small part of it by playing with one.

Bring your Level 10 ULE Mag to them and do the finger and dollar bill anti-chop test. Then say obsolete my @$$. At I&I Sports in LA, the guy that works there thinks that 900 psi into a RT valve with break paintballs and that the valve will blow up. Even though the valve is rated to 3000 psi as Z-Man proved. I hate how ignorant and dumb paintball shop workers are about Mags.

See I'm waiting till I get around to buying my ULE Emag (or hAir trigger with ULE parts, annoed dust to match the angel and dm4 (is day dreaming again))then educating my coworkers at the store. Mostly its just that in some places mags arent as popular so no one has experience with them like they do the other guns.
As far as being obsolete goes, in modern speedball anything that doesnt wail out ropes of paint is going to be called obsolete like : mech mags, mech cockers (eblades revived alot of cocker sales), old single trigger Angels, and tippmans.Comment

Just because you have a classic RT doesnt mean it's obsolete. It can still shoot people cant it? When I had my RT, I was always getting picked on by the refs at the field I went to. Always saying "I dont know if I can ref you, I shoot a cocker". I would always say, "ok, dont ref me, play me." One ref did, and non of his friends wanted to after that. The classic RT is still plenty fast. If you need to shoot more than that, you arent doing your job as a player.Formerly ~WarpedRT~

I guess everyone has there points i used to shoot mags for almost 2 years everything from classics to e-mags all nice guns all fast and always kept up w/ the higher end tourney guns(ie: angels, timmys, matrixes) there recharge is fantastic they have all the potential to become a mainstream (not saying they arent...) most players at some point in there carreer have used or been around a mag.
The problem that Airgun has is, that they dont buy into the hype scheme.. this meaning creating new stuff constantly to apeal to tourney players ie: timmy, ect.
There more of a in between marker company never appealing to one type of player or the other which is good not neccisarly for the company but good for the player and the following.
Right now Adg sits at the edge of getting something new on the market and paying SP which every company has or will have to do (with sucsess besides aka but aka never really produced guns they've mostly been a accessory company)
IE: ICD has had more sucsess then expected they cannot even keep up w/ the demand. as i see it if Agd can get a marker on the market for 400-500 dollars and compete w/ the higher end guns that means including eyes ect and being electronic now i'm not saying thats neccicary what it needs but i work at a shop and thats the number one selling point these days on guns speed, people dont care how they get it.
But as its goes its gotta have eyes and its gotta be electronic now it can have a couple versions like led no eyes lcd w/ eyes or mechanical.
The way it sits theres a good price range to put it in should be around 450-500 there is a good size gap in the market for guns in the 400-500 dollar range basicaly tourney level gun or a nice woodsball gun..
now this is what i think would be good
pretty much run it like a cocker, impulse, matrix set up
use an x-valve set up ule body ect or a new design
350-400 mechanical bone stock but can be upgraded
400-450 led electronic frame slower board, no eyes but can be upgraded for a price maybe predrilled for optional after market boards (ie new board eyes from agd)
550-700- lcd w/ eyes or led w/ eyes fade colors ect.
thats my take on it, thats what i see that can sell. anything higher it will sell but .. make it custom versions ect.
allow options for other companys to make bolt kits or more upgrade parts for it to get more of a market...
i dunno thats just me and my take i might be wrong maybe tom will read this.. and i'll get a responseMY SIG RULZ

Just received the Lvl 10 in the mail. This little baby ought to cure the only complaint I ever had with the gun. I can't wait to play with the tuning and bring the ol' Rt up to speed.
Note: has anyone ever tried that tongue thing as seen on the video!?!

The tongue test can only be done with the X-Mag because the breech is removable. You can still do the the finger and dollar bill test or squeegee test. I like to go to paintball stores that say "Mags chop" or "Mags are high pressure" and stick my finger in my Minimag breech while pulling the trigger a hundred times. Then I say "sure they chop a lot".

LISTEN UP!!!
I have something I would like to say...
Everybody is 'all hail the hair trigger'... why? Yeah, it shoots fast. Alot of other ELECTRO triggers shoot that fast as well. And I'll bet it's as 'complicated' as the cockers that everyone bashes everytime they go to the field and see 'all the cocker owners fiddling with thier guns'. Hmmm...? The thing is, nobody cares if its mechanical or not. And it's STILL slower than alot of electro triggers. And it'll make the mag even LESS efficient. I stand behind it all the way, and I think AGD should run with it, but let's not all fall into the 'AGD doesn't hype stuff' hype, ok?
I still think AGD is one of the best companies out there, but let's all keep this in perspective.

I know I'm a few posts late...
But on the subject of views of a certain post, AGG 101 at PBN has been viewed 66,036 times, with an average of 2871.13 views/day. And people still don't know what agg is. So I wouldn't go and buy a keg because of 37k hits.SwallowBleach: It's good for you.
