Omg Who Gives A CRAP If They Didnt Have Barrel Socks On!

Personally, I see so many threads like this and it doesn't really matter one bit. Should I post a pic every time I see someone without masks on and with no barrel socks?

Bottom line is: With triggers as light and sensitive as they are today, socks should be on the gun with the exception of chronoing and actually on the field playing. Whenever the gun is aired up and loaded a sock should be on. Last time I played, a newb with some type of e-spyder clone almost shot his buddy that came with him right in the nads.

I have a problem with ANYONE, no matter who they are, who doesn't follow the safety guidelines. They are there for a reason, not just to be read and ignored. As a player I don't want some idiot, yes I said idiot, to harm me, possibly for life. As a mother, I surely dont want my child hurt and beleive me I will make them pay for not following safety rules and taking my childs well being so lightly. I have seen first had the horror of a possible eye injury. Thank goodness this child was lucky and just got a bruise. It happen to not be a safety rule not followed but a fluke. At the season opener for the CFOA, a kid, took his tank off and his barrel but left the hopper on and a ball in the chamber. When he sat the gun down, the trigger was hit, by what I dont know, but it shot and hit him just below his eye. It looked like he was bleeding and a direct hit in the eye. Luckly it wasn't a direct hit and he was ok, except for the pain. He also had red/close red paint which made it look like he was bleeding. That was the scarriest thing I've ever seen. So pay attention people. EVERYTHING you do, affect the people around you. Safety is NOT just for you, it's for EVERYONE around you.

they probably didnt have RT triggers, but if they did they are VERY easy to shoot accidentally, like say.. in your foot.

Just to play devil's advocate: they look extremely painted and the photos at the end of the gallery, it could very well have been a shot of them at the end of the day without any paint in their markers, none of the hoppers are clear so we don't know for sure. but before assuming they're waving around loaded markers, that ought to be known from someone around there. They're A5's, I bet the field owner took care of the group personally and would have made sure they were totally out of paint before getting the photo done with the radio dj in the middle there. Then again I could be wrong, but just providing another possibility. And don't rag on them that even empty markers shouldn't be carried around without a bag, we've all changed a barrel or done something without paint in it, air still on, and no bag.

                            Simply amazing...

With how nazi those guys are about barrel socks they even let that picture be taken.

Don't get me wrong safety is one thing, but being total nazi butt-pirates about it is another.

I was there yesterday at a 5 man tourney and I had absolutly no complaints with the staff at all (except our first game the refs made some very stupid calls).

That and they allowed an Amateur team to play in a Rookie tournament.
