    Most women love diamonds....

But I love my mill!!!! Don't get me wrong a diamond every once in a while is nice.

I could sit and watch this machine go back and forth for hours!!!!!

Well I thought I would show you the latest, I cut 1 panel vert, 1 emag smooth windowless, and 1 emag smooth.

I only have finished one side because the other panels have raised embossed words and I broke a few tools, but now that I have the hang of it I'm just waiting for the tool to show up.

I made smooth panels first because there was a few requests for them. I am going to put the screw holes in now and make molds of them. I added a little extra to the sides of the grip as well to cover everything for the emag.

The item below the grips is a cast of a medal I made for my son's T-Ball team.

    I love my mill!!!!

Damn.. .I love those grips... That work is just insanely good for someone so new to a mill. I'll definately buy some of those later, no doubt at all. Keep it up!!

Hey Frymarker. I was jw how much some clear grips with hornets in them would cost (for an E-Mag). If this isnt possible what is the usual price for clrear grips with something embedded into them. I was also wondering if you still make the rubber battery pack grips and if so can you embed things into those.

      THANKS

I dont mean to clutter the thread i just didnt know how to get ahold of you.

Hehe I was just going to email you

I just poured the molds, like I stated before I'm waiting for the other tool to come in, it may be here by next week, it is coming from CA.

The other panel will have FryMark Design raised embossed on the edge.

So I'm shooting for next week I should have them ready. I already poured the beginning of the jewels and switch. Tomorrow will be the black background for those.

Heather, do you mill it straight aluminum? Cause if so, can you also do annodizing for it? Also, for your milling, can you mill custom imprints or raised parts on it? Cause that'd look so sweet to have 'TraXeR' raised out of the grips onto them (does that make sense?) with a cool design (which I would send a high res pic to you of) imprinted around it.

Also, do you still make soft panel grips? Or was that only with wrap arounds? Cause I'm gonna probably get those too.

Agreed, have your husband or kids take a pic of you hugging your mill! Make sure it's off and not running though...

Based on those pictures it looks like she's milling molds out of a special kind of machineable wax. The grips will still be resin or rubber or whatever, but this allows her to do molds much faster and easier.

My question is what set of programs are you using to do the CNC commands? Or to convert a 3d model into G-code.

I thought those were test grips to give the mill a try. I figured her final product would be milled aluminum panels like what RogueFactor did to his vert frame.
