heather!!! quite dropping $50 for each of those bits.
    especially in wax and wood...

www.american-carbide.com has some 1/8" ball and flat nose endmills for around $5/ea.

www.Mcmaster.com also has a HUGE selection of bits that you can use.. down to 1/64 from what I'v seen.. they are a little more but still waaayy below $50/ea. :)
and trust me they will work perfectly fine in your mill, just make sure you get the right shank size. Can you clamp a 3/16"? I know you can do 1/8".

email me about the Rhino software and class.. :)

    out!

      Hi Colin :)

Yes I searched everywhere for the bits. I tried McMaster and bought a bit but the over all length came up too short, the bit was 2 inches I need about 3. I put it in and it fell out.

So I broke down and bought another bit from Roland, for $50, I figured if I am using wax then I don't have worry about the blade dulling.

I'll try those other sites you listed, thanks for your help as always :)

I'll email you back this morning!

Well I tried those sites as well and they have the diameter of the shank but not the length, then I saw that then had long shanks but not the correct diameter.

Evidently this must be an odd shank Roland must have specifically made. I'll have to get on the Roland forum and ask some questions.

At any rate I am still dealing with Roland sending me the bit, they haven't sent it out yet, first they informed me it was on back order, then I called again yesterday and they said they lost my cc info, but I look on my card and the transaction was pending. So now we are trying to eliviate that situation.

        Ahhh the waiting game!
