How do you keep your gear safe at the field?

i've made a similar thread like this but it was only ways to protect a single marker...now i have a bigger dillema...

Now there is a big monster game comming up at the badlandz (some field in illinois where the psp chicago open was held) ...now i've had 1 time when a case of paint magically grew legs and walked off somewhere and that kinda pissed me off. but now im bringing enough gear for an army (my friends want to save money so im lending them my gear) but how do i keep all of my gear safe while im out?

we might be out hours at a time and anyone could just walk into our tent and take everything. my friends and i plan on having 6 polls hammered arond our tent and have a fence made out of caution tape and string....and a nice little sign that threatens to shoot any tresspassers (and yes, if i see someone in that tent that doesn't belong there they will be tackled. if i see someone in our tent comming out with our gear they will be shot numerous times then tackled...and maybe beaten with a 18" sp 2 piece all american barrel...which is for sale for $50 btw)

our other idea..is to have a lock box just like how agd stores all of their stuff at their booth...but...we don't have a box.

o and if anyone is thinking in their head "WHY DONT YOU KEEP IT IN THE CAR"...well...we don't have a car

right now our ideas kinda stink and we are asking ao to help us come up with a simple and good way to protect our gear

...and no we are not going to haul everything with us onto the field while we play
and please no disgusting ideas either, chances are we thought of em already

    Thanks,
    SnYpER

My experiences with scenarios have been lovely, but you do still get a horror story every now and again.

My advice is to make friends with your neighbors early on. Kinda form a 'neighborhood watch' type of thing going. Pretty soon everyone realizes just whom and whom is not supposed to be at which site!

well, to keep my gear safe during a game, I like to leave it all inside my unlocked minivan with the keys on the dash... oh and I also like to keep my wallet on the front seat

but serously, usually I just introduce myself to the person parked on both sides of me and start a "I'll watch your back if you watch my back" sort of deal... that way everyone benefits...

yeah my thoughts exactly. and if you don't have a permanent stationary object near you make one. drive a metal pole into the ground. my dog has one and he can't get away, then again he's a chihuahua...

then padlock and chain them to something around your campsite depending on whats there, a tree, bbq pit, or if you get like 3 of them, chain them together and stick em in your tent.

this is what people at school use to bring their stuff. Ton of space inside.

                idea on cheap lock box

the local watch idea is good, but here is an added measure of saftey. Goto walmart kmart etc look for rubbermaid totes I think the biggest size is like 35 gallons they have a lid. Drill a hole on either side of the lip and the lid, feed padlocks thru lid and holes. Drill hole in back side of box. Find at least a 1" diameter metal washer. Put the washer on the inside of box, thread another bike chain into back of box conect chain to washer. So now you have a box that has double locks and can be chained to a tree, fire hydrant, vagrant etc. I think the rubbermaid totes are like $16 to $24 a couple of padlocks maybe like $5 bike chain I quess is like $10 and the washer, get ur buds to chip in for cost. For extra protection force ur little brother/sister to sit on top of box and scream bloody murder whenever a stranger comes within 1 foot of box.
3.2 e mag ULE body and rail. Oh yeah I gots the X inside!!!

I use a key lock, lock all my paint and stuff in my bag. I keep the key on a lanyard around my neck, so I dont lose it.

but then someone can just take the entire bag

im starting to like the rubbermaid idea. but instead of drilling holes in it and using padlocks, my idea is to chain the entire thing and padlock the chain then chain it to something

get a bike chain or something like ti, run it through all the trigger guards on the markers, and chain em to a pole, for tanks and hoppers.....i think the only thing you could do is get a box to lock em in
