agd valve exchange

ok i have another topic in the tech forum along the same lines,but i was wondering the mini mag i am planing on getting has a serial number of mm06751 now would this valve be covered by that exchange thing at no cost to me. im also very very confused about it so could you guys help set me strait on this whole thing

Basically any AGD valve qualifies.

it takes $100 off. So you have to pay $225 for an Xvalve. But its a whole new gun.

so i have to pay 100 and they give me a new valve cause this mini mag has the stock valve and its messed up and i just heard that if i send it to agd they'll fix it for free or something but like i said im so lost on this whole thing.

If you send to AGD they will fix it for free if it's a Warranty issue. They will do that to each valve regardless of who owns it,typically 3 times. (That number sometimes varies depending on the valve)

If you want a brand new X valve instead, after obtainiong as RA# from AGD, you send in your current valve(not the whloe gun) and $225 and they will send you the new X valve in return.There is no trade in deal to get another Minimag valve.

well the guy i bought this from he dosnt have any of the original paper work, like manuals and warranty card stuff like that so i just get the return authorization notice and send it in

Yes.

AGD will mark the valve for each time it get's serviced.It will be a marked by drilling a little indent mark,which will remove one of the printed stars on the valve.When the valve has been 'punched' so many times(no more stars),the warranty is over on it.

Either call AGD or go the the Airgun site and fill out the service form,you will then get an RA# and can send it in.

where are the stars supposed to be at caused i have looked at the vavle and i dont see any stars

Sounds like your valve is an older one, before they went with the star system!!! If that is the case, the warranty has already expired on it!! But if both halves of your valve have matching serial numbers, it does qualify for the go X program!!! Call AGD and get the details!!! Hope this helps!!

I believe valves without stars are treated as though they have 2 and will still be 'punched' up to 2 times.

the star program was eliminated for valves that are so old. I'm not sure whether yours is too old or not. However, if you call the AGD office on Monday 8-5 CST there will be one of two lovely ladies to answer the phone and help you through your needs. They'll have all the info you need. And best of all, they're just a phone call away!

Anyone know what happens to the sent-in RT / Classic valves? Considering they dont sell either anymore..
