well anything that shoots decently fast and is semi-efficient will do the trick. just pick a gun in your budget.

Every gun will have the SAME accuracy and the SAME range.

I'd probably pick a Timmy, DM4, E-Bladed Cocker, Viking or Excal.

I seemed to get alot more people out off the break using my NYX then I do with my ND Timmy.. It's wierd.. The NYX would be shooting at 250's on a 7-man, and the ND would be 270's/280's on a small 5 man, and still more would break with the NYX.. And I know I was hitting people.. So either these punks had alot of layers on (ND's was a noob tourny, NYX was a seriouse one, only 2 layer) or the trajectory is different between the two guns.. Or it was probablly just that I was shooting evil in the NYX, and Draxxus in the ND..

But ermm.. I'd get a trix or a 2k4 timmy, both are fast, easy to maintain, and reliable from what i've experienced (just make sure you have an extra membrane pad for that DM4)

I am a back man and I use a timmy, it works fine. But I would like to have a dm4, just a better gun in my mind.

A Tippman 98 with a flatline. Best range out there.

Serioiusly, most any high end gun will work well for a back player. I used an emag, excal, viking, many people use timmies, cockers, angels. The accuracy will come from havint the barrel match the paint well.

Any 2k4 timmy... Alias, Dark, Naughty Dogs, Russion Legion, basically whichever one you think has the nicest milling..

And a DM4.. I would probablly take a DM4 though, just because they seem to shoot a little smoother, but I love my timmy no doubt.

Whatever gun you're most comfortable with and can rip the fastest on. I'm a back man and am using a Tribal atm. I've tried mags, cockers, etc. I just like the feel of an electro but I don't have the cash to spend on all the high end Timmy's or DM4's and whatnot.

If money isn't an issue, I like the milling on the Empire and Alias Timmy's. DM4's are awesome too.

i may be biased and this is from bout 2 years ago, played alot of 10 man. i played with team rave in a couple 10 man tourneys. we almost all shot e-mags from the front to the back. we'd have 2 guys dumping paint off the break, each shooting crossing lanes. i'd usually empty a hopper and a football, within nearly the first 45 seconds. this method usually (not always) ended up with two opponents out off the break.

truthfully i'd say it is all about personal preference. i'd get whatever i was comfortable shooting and could shoot well. get what u want, get used to it, and the rest should fall into place as long as you have some knowledge of the game.
