DM4s and Aliases

I was just wondering why everyone thinks that the DM4 is so great. I mean they are pretty awesome, but I mean an alias is or can be just as fast. I think that the only thing a DM4 has over the alias is that it is quieter, other than that they are both equally fast and equally accurate. The alias is way more efficient and alot lighter also. I may get flamed for all of this, but I just don't understand why a DM4 is considered "the gun" to have. They are nice and everything, but I just don't see why it seems that everyones answer is "DM4" to everything regarding guns. I have seen all types of guns shoot just as fast if not faster than the DM4 in some cases and I am just doing this to get other input on why this gun is so applauded for everything. Sorry in advance if it offended anyone.

well first of all they are basically the same price so if you like timmys you buy a timmy, if you don't - you buy a dm4.

and when you get sick of topping off the nitro tanks cuz the field only fills to 2k and your x goes through that like you do cake you get a viking!!!

actually got to shot one of these and it almost convienced me to get one my self. something is up with the programming in the board cuz i cant walk but i was able to rip on this thing..oh well i guess i was just having a good day cuz i ripped up a speed aswell!

I have both, and favor my Intimidators. I am not knocking the DM4 at all, it is very nice, but I just prefer the Timmy. The only way I can describe my preference is this. When shooting the DM4, it feels nice and buttery smooth because of the low noise signature and reduced recoil. The Intimidator on the other hand just feels NASTY, like it wants to fight. One is a finesse boxer, the other a street fighter that might just pull a knife and cut your throat at any time



If I did not need my DM4 for development, I would probably trade it for another Intimidator......But dont let that sway you. I am a "bought man". Really, I admit it

like you said they are both equally fast and i know that because we have had both out to our field and when the dm4 isnt bouncing they are the same. i would defini9tly take the timmy over the dm4 it has a smaller profile and isnt ugly. i mean the dm4 is groing on me and it isnt so bad know but the abomb timmy and alias and all of the other new ones are awesome i would definitly take and new style timmy over the dm4.

in the end they are both great guns.

Pretty much ALL guns in that price range perform the same with minor....MINOR over all differences that appeal to different people. I also have owned both and do prefer the Alias over the DM4 but only for subtle reasons.

Don't worry about what certain other people think, think for yourself and enjoy the freedom.

See I'm the opposite of those two.........whats the word im looking for.......BLASPHEMERS!!! J/K... I like to play with my friends Dark Timmy sometimes just because the gun is so light and beautiful but when I get my DM4 back it's something very different, the nearly zero kick and that super quiet sound make it feel like youre not even mowing out huge streams of paint. The gun never chops and seems to figure your loader out itself. I've changed between halo, revy and evo 2 with Z board between games and the gun just figures out what I'm shooting and how fast to go. Another thing I like is the easy maintenance, every couple weeks throw some lube on a few orings and bam back in the bag


Given the option I'd shoot a DM4 or Fly but I'd have no problem picking up a timmy .

Just because something is popular does NOT mean it's all hype. The DM4 is hyped a lot, but deservedly so. It's an amazing marker. As is the Alias.

Because DYE's marketing dept has told everyone the DM4 is "THE GUN" I shot one for 3 games this past sun. Nice gun I dont see where it is anything worth the the amount of money they are asking for it. It is quiet, IMO the best feature is the 1/4 turn air valve not like cranking all day with a on/off! The DM4 is the new kid right now but somebody better will come along, if u like ur alias continue to do use it, tell the nasayers to bite it!!! Im the only person within a 100 mile square radius that ownes an emag and I hear crap all day long at the airball field, ewww heavy *** mag blah blah blah!!! but when I goto to woods field everybody is like damn let me check out that mag!! whatever shoot whatever u like/can afford.

that is bs. Dye's marketing has had so little to do with it compared to word of mouth from the people that owned em. The trix its self was uber popular, because it was fast, and uber soft on the balls, almost lvl 10 soft. Thats more than i can say for the timmy. When the dm4 came out, it sold like hotcakes, and still does so, because it is lighter than the irigional trix, it is soo smoothe, it is so fast, and still uber light on the balls. Plus it comes with an amazing ace.

I didnt chop or break one ball the whole IAO. if you see paint on my barrel, its because i shot my barrel condom



the dm4 is an amazing marker, and it all comes down to preference. I had enough to buy one or the other, and i chose the dm4. 1 because i love the spoolvalve, light on paint, and super smoothe and fast.

2 the alias kicks like a mule compared to the trix

3. i hate the gripframe on the alias

4 the dm4 is much sexier in person

and 5 i like the opperation, i like the speed, i like the gun flat out.

It is the best gun on the market in my opinion, as it offers more for your money, for the price.
