          K, I'll play along.

Yes, please clarify how a longer barrel gives you better accuracy.

          Thanks in advance.

Well it would make sense that to a degree the longer the ball travels in a set direction the longer it will stay on that path... I saw a test where everything past 16" only hindered the accuracy performance of the tested barrel (I believe it was a Boomy).

Edit: Maybe it was 14... I could have sworn it was 16 though. Either way, I use my 16" with great success in the woods.

From my personal experience there is absolutely no accuracy gain going from a 12" to a 16".

I believe there is a test, by Tom of course, that after like 6 inches there is no more advantage. But longer barrels are easier to sight down I hear.

I use a 16" barrel to compensate for something unknown...

The fact that I can't push in bunkers with my hands so I use the barrel LOL I fewled you.

Chops don't always happen. My DM has yet to chop, in fact I think it hasn't had a barrel break. My fly had 2 breaks on sunday so i checked the breach......all in the barrel yay. First time using cheap paint in a while so I was likem damn I should carry a squeegee.

                      12' is perfect.

Ah, here's the key to the argument. Longer barrels make it easier to sight in what you're aiming at.

I used to use the little minimag barrels with custom porting.... it was neat for a while but I realized I had no way of aiming past just shooting and watching the balls.

With a long barrel (14 or 16") I have a much easier time "pointing" and hitting.

14" CP one piece (CP Matrix) is my favorite. I like 12 - 16 inch barrels, but 14-16 for speedball.
