Well, if I remember Tom right, the tank dumps 3000psi into the valve every shot. It chronos around 450fps or so. I don't think we ever chrono'd Muz's or Simon's.

Also, the paint pellets they are talking about- not only are they plastic but they are lead tipped...

The projectiles are about 8grams (paintball is 3grams). With a paintball the thing shoots over 400fps at it's lowest velocity. So if you get hit with an 8 gram projectile at 300fps, it bery will might "knock you down". and yes, the valve does take 3000psi right from the tank.

I know the FN-303 rounds are substantially harder then normal, so this may be an entirely true statement. Not a terribly big fan of seeing "paintball" being associated with the capability of "knocking someone down".

The 303 was also in The Boston Globe when they were discussing preparations for the Democratic National Convention. Nice big picture too, on the cover of the section.

Yes, the FN303 was designed by AGD. This is the reason why nothing new was released into the paintball world by AGD between 1996 and 2000. It's quite a spiffy "weapon". The guys at NJAO got to look at mine, as far as I know, there are two in public hands (Mine and Manikes). There might be more, but I have not seen or heard of them.
