Did you cross thread it or is it stuck with gunk rom playing? Why don't you try to put WD-40 on it and then put a strap wrench strap wrench to it.

      ok.. remain calm.. now.

breath in... and out.... this happends to alot of people.

what i do, i run the back piece only under hot water (the part with the threading on the inside) and that heats it up, making it expand, and comes off with a little force.

it that doesnt work, have a friend hold one piece, get a rubber strap wrench and try that.

      good luck

you can just use a hair dryer and heat it up. I do that all the time when I have problems like this.

meh, i had a pipe kit and that happened all the time btw the pipe kit doesnt have threads like most other kits, you have to heat the tip, not the back. what i always did (of course i was at the field so i didnt have much of a choice) is get someone to hold the tip while i unscrew the back from it. if you have a vice, what i would do is cut two pieces of wood (to use instead of the vice metal so the barrel isnt scratched) and clamp the barrel tip between the pieces of wood. the way the tip is milled, you shouldnt need much pressure to hold it into the vice well, so there wont be any chance of the barrel getting slightly bent out of shape. then just grip the back with both your hands and twist.

Use a Vice and a Grip wrench. Put a towel between the vice so you dont scartch the barrel. Put the back between the vice, NOT the tip, the tip is very thin and could easily be squeezed with the vice. Use a hairdryer and heat up the threads EVENLY for about 1 minute. Then use the grip wrench and "un-stick" them.

or just use 2 strap wrenchs and face them the other direction?

Suggestion - Put an o-ring on the back threads next time

mine gets stuck all the time, it usually takes me holding on to one piece and my friend twisting the other to get it off
