People in Oklahoma hate Mags...

I do not know why...but I posted a thread about Mags on the Oklahoma message boards (to see if anyone needed help with theirs, just to be nice) and all I got was flame from them. If anyone wants I can post the link...but will not do it just yet.

Well anyways the point is...does any on this board have a state like that. Where people flame on you just because you have a Mag?

I don't know of any states that actually hate a certain gun.

Utah is still very anti mag, but several of the more noticed players around Northeast Utah are using mags now, so hopefully it'll spred.

Think you guys have it bad? Come to New York ( well more like Long Island ) and you will be hated no matter what if your not shooting a matrix , DM4 , or timmy..

Even in my store I get dirty looks when people walk in and see I have Bushys , SP guns , and the occasional Angel ( I dont have mags yet so shhh , But we do have my personal one and my friends presonal one though )

I never get hated on, it's more of a curiosity thing, and I get a lot of 'wow I didn't know people still used those, haven't seen one forever...' And it's said with a tinge of pity, oddly, like they wonder if I shoot it because I actually LIKE it or something.

I think Utah is more non mag than anti mag. I'm usually the only one with a mag when I play and I only get curious comments not anti comments. When I upgraded to the X Valve and Level 10 I could not for the life of me get it tuned right. I took my mag to Pegleg Paintball and they have one tech who loves mags and he did a wonderful job on mine. Now it shoots sweet. I do play mostly woods/rec paintball and stay away from the big balloon bunkers. The hot shots that play speed ball don't like anything that in their mind is not the latest and greatest and this includes most guns.

yea, me too, and the whole warp feed set up they trip too on my mag

im the only one out of the players / friends thats got a mags. they trip too
