People in Oklahoma hate Mags...

AZ isn't an anti-mag state, but then again, it's not pro-mag either I guess. We have gotten some strange looks/inquiring questions on and off the field though. One day, my emag's level 10 kept venting. My hopper wasn't keeping up (12v revvy with low batteries ) and two guys on the sidelines were asking each other "what's that sound?" I answered them, while still shooting, and they look at me, then go "oh, cool" and walked away. no sure if they were impressed with the awesomeness that is the mag or the beauty that is the karta or the fact that I answered them while I was playing LOL! but we do see mags at the field every once and a while, it's pretty refreshing...

Mags are a dying breed...

Let's face it... mags are just a dying breed. Don't get me wrong, I love my mag, but so far I've only encountered two people who knew what a mag was (one of them had one) in the last 3 months (which is about 14 trips to any field). All the people with their shiny new electros look down on Mags in general because they don't always need batteries. Their loss. Oh, and I'm in Washington.

There's tons and tons of Mags in Jersey. Everytime I;ve gone to play in the past year I have seen at least one. No one is Anti-mag, they're all curious as to what it is and how it doesnt chop.

I love illinois, the home of the mag. I figured out though the best way to end hating is to put people in their place. Just play the doubters and earn some respect

Yeha i agrre NT. Also on sunday i went to The badlandz and i saw like 4 people with mags 5 including myself it was pretty sweet. I love my new emag it is sooo sweet.

I'm getting a mag and there is not so many at our local fields in Ottawa. On the indoor many uses high end electro but I don't think that I will receive any anti-mag comment as there is some playing and they don't receive any bad comment as I see. The only problem I see is to get someone to tell me how to tune my mag if I get problems with it. To come back on the original subject, our fields are mostly cocker or high ends electro but I don't feel that I'll be banned if I use a mag .

the typical day of play:

go to the field with either karta emag or rtpro

first person to see it "dood is that a shocker its hawt"
me "no it is a custom emag"
first person to see it " aww mags suck"


go on to the field

people on the side "damn that gun is fast, ya it is , what is it, ect ect etc "

I get off the field SAME PEOPLE " oh its just a mag, aww mags suck, BLAH BLAH BLAH,Can you fix my shocker?"

people just don't get it

I have not chopped a ball in 40+ cases with the emag since lvl 10

I think Utah is more non mag than anti mag. I'm usually the only one with a mag when I play and I only get curious comments not anti comments. When I upgraded to the X Valve and Level 10 I could not for the life of me get it tuned right. I took my mag to Pegleg Paintball and they have one tech who loves mags and he did a wonderful job on mine. Now it shoots sweet. I do play mostly woods/rec paintball and stay away from the big balloon bunkers. The hot shots that play speed ball don't like anything that in their mind is not the latest and greatest and this includes most guns.

I have had more fights with pegleg employees than almost anyone else, I have met the pro mag guy, but he hates the warp so I didn't get much help from him either. Granted I haven't been to pegleg in over two years so it may have changed. I got nothing but crap for my mag untill recently when Millennium Vernal(which I own) started really promoting mags and I had my team switch to mags, now in Vernal the mag is the marker to have. I hope the rest of the state follows soon.

and i want to make this final times have changed its not 1 ball 1 kill anymore its usually 500 balls one kill unless your playing noobs and anyone that dissagrees can ask any experienced player the same question. now the gun doesnt make the player but the gun sure helps i mean if u have 2 pro guys one has a pump or mag and one has a timmy or dm4 then the one with the better gun will usually win.(unless he is an idiot) because it is easier to throw more paint so u can move up the field and have a better chance of hitting your opponent

actually there buddy i have played with one at az before... this little chinese kid named like dong or fong had one and i played with it one game and i absolutely hated it... i didnt like the way it shot and it didnt shoot fast at all so yeah dont be saying that the people that are saying that automags **** havent ever played with one becuz i have and they BLOW balls!

First off...there are such things as lower end mags...and frankly they shoot slow...any mag with a rt, or other valve/ double trigger (are light as hell)...facts on mags, not just gay opinions that you irogent people have formed, proove that mags are better than the average gun, expecially those gay rat impys people are shooting thinking they are all big and bad...AGD has been around for a long time and they have made a name for themselfs (rightfully) and they are continually revolutionizing paintball...so before you people who have probly never touched a half way decent gun make a opinion know your facts...

also nobody sells mags because nobody wants em anymore

Oh and when you say nobody likes their mag...do you ever get out of your cornfields?? Because if you did, you would notice TONS of people own and love mags....
