OK, sorry for leading you down the wrong path, it may be just your trigger rod length. You might try http://www.paintballravi.com/index.html and use the step by step guide listed there, it's pretty comprehensive and helpful.

EDIT: paintballravi is gone, sorry. I will see if I saved the PDF file, but I don't think so. Sorry again.

If the back block cycles back and forth the 3 way and LPR are fine.

I am not really understanding what you mean by burping. When it fires it burps rather than pops?

What it sounds like is that you may have the timing a little tight and the back block is actually coming back before the hammer is all the way forward. Its really hard to tell you post by post how to fix it , but easy enough in person.

As far as the year..I dunno. Looks OLD.

I had a 95-96 cocker and it was serialed 21234 so id guess yours was a 95. Im pretty sure they did have the cooper t ball detent in those year cockers

Oh Yeah, did you check that your cocking rod remains tight once it starts burping? Thats one of the most common problems when you have a cocker that starts burping after 20 shots of shooting fine

Yeah, I'd say that is pre-1995, if serial numbers can be trusted. My 1995 Autococker is SN 25927.

Instead of pulling a hose off the 3-way, you can pull one off the ram and see which way the air is directed.

Just go to endlesspb.com and follow their timing guide. It should get you up and running.

          God gave you a soul.
          Your parents, a body.
          Your country, a rifle.

          Keep all of them clean.

also, make sure the sear spring is good, the sear isn't polished up too much and the cocking lug isn't worn.
