I like the first design alot better than the second. With the second, there is so much going on, it's hard to see what is going on.

I think the first one would look great with the entire body beadblasted, and the polish just the raises parts of it.

headcase-I think I agree with you. The first one is a lot simpler. The second is very busy looking, but I think it would look very good if it was majorly simplified. I read someone on the mill thread that they didn't like the design with the 'X' cause it wasn't clear and crisp or something-thats what I want to hear. Critisizm tells me what people don't like about it so I may be able to improve it. Its the best way for me to get feedback. So thanks for your comments.

I liked your designs. I personally like the smoother looking designs better than the hard crip designs.

While I'm talking about milling designs:

Where can I see a wide variety of milled bodies for a cocker/angel/etc?

Manike-I have printed out the blue side view of the vertical feed Extreme E-Mag and will put the X-mag design on it. Expect it around tomorrow, as I need some time to carefully place the milling within the bodies dimensions. It's one think to do a roughly precise 3d concept, but another thing to do it straight on right within the lines, and I want to make it so you don't have to do any work just because I put part of the mill outside the dimensions. I will try to sharpen up the X a little and get it back to you soon, if not this afternoon, then tomorrow. Thanks for paying so close attention to these and everyone's designs! Very cool.

arg! I keep hearing "Mill the battery pack...mill the battery pack...mill the battery pack" I need to start thinking of some ideas! Any suggestions? I am always open to what people have to say.

do you have photshop or a similar program? I don't know a ton about photoshop, but I think you can draw in there. Then again, I am better at drawing than photoshop, so I don't really use it.

it's far too hard to draw with a mouse. I wouldn't be able to get the right curves for it and my design is inspired off your design but it doesn't have the X

I know what you mean. I wouldn't be able to do my designs off a computer. Do you have a friend that has a scanner? I would like to see it.
