you're right, i never thought about that....

but yeah, by far the most consistant tank i've used so far. If you can put up with its few quirks (only one gauge, need a slide check, etc...) it really is a great tank.

From what i know (which is what AA told me) the Raptor was originaly designed to be run as a remote setup. But like Muzikman said, by the time you get a cradle and a slide check you're probably gonna be in or close tho the $270 range, which is what apocs now cost (damn good price )

why not just get a crossfire tank?? most guns nowadays dont need an adustable tank. if you dont just get a crossfire with a rail and a cp on off.

At least you can buy a kit and rebuild the thing yourself, when a preset reg craps you have to send it to the factory most times.

I have seen plenty of PE tanks regs go bad and even a hand full od Crossfire. It's a reg, they will go bad.

It's just Murphey's Law, what can go wrong will go wrong.
I've had my 92/4500 Crossfire tank for about 3 years now, and I have had the red go bad only once. I send it into Crossfire, they put on a newer better reg, and included some other fun stuff too, all i had to do was pay for shipping. I like having a preset more than an adjustable tank because I tend to use low-end guns, and they are more of a hassle to get an adjustable tank on than a preset.

So if you go for an adjustable, make sure you have all the attachments, etc. for it.
