AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
nice and cheap %99 of the time to NOT go together, sorry. devilmags are indeed drop ins, just drop your gun in the mail and it will come back to you electroized (i know that is not a word).
if you want a nice fast gun you are going to have to pay for it. e spyders suck, they are slow and unreliable. but they are cheap. if you want cheap go for them, but mags are made for quality and will be expensive to put a good eframe on.
my feedback
countdown on devilmag day........ill let you now
I agrre with the people who say that the mod is to exensive. I woulda bought one but i cant justify spendoing that much for an electro from. I could just sell my mag ( if i still had one) and save the cost of the frame and buy a new gun that id be much happier with. If the frmae was more reasonably proced im sure those things would fly off of GA's shelves (or workbench lol).
I too think that a "drop in" E-frame would be good for mags, but to compare the Spyder's situation to the mags, isn't entirely correct.
The spyder design is owned(or at the very least liscenced) by National, who have an agreement with SP concerning eframes. They are "allowed" to make electros, and electro frames. AGD, Centerflag, and others who probably have designs in the works, do not have this permission to do so. If they proceed, the chance of repocussions are there, it is their choice to proceed with the design or not.
couldnt someone like privatly make some frames that are made when they are ordered? Because it seems like lots of people are know doing E conversions to mags. If i had money i might try to make one but ha i dont have money.

Spyders may not be up to the specs of a mag, but they work just fine with crappy specs. That to me spells r-e-l-i-a-b-l-e. Also, I have never had a spyder just go down for no reason. Ever. The new e-frames are not slow, especially when you fit it with a t-board. They are UNCAPPED. And come with optional EYES. No chopping. Like the lvl 10, except more air EFFICIENT. Dwell settings, the whole nine yards. The only difference between an e-grip spyder and an e-grip mag is... hmm... can't think of one. Both shoot, both rely on consitent air and paint-to-barrel match to be accurate. And both are made of aluminum, something TK swore up and down he would never do. Until we started complaining and asking for an aluminum body. Get off your "my gun is better than yours" trip and come on back down to earth. Both are sturdy guns. Period, end of story.
ive seen many spyders compete up to the higher end guns, and even compared to the higher end guns they were more reliable.
when tom stopped production on the emag he didnt want to get into all the patent war stuff with the electronics. i wonder if it would be okay now for AGD to be able to make somthing like a drop in electronic thingy and not be worried about gettin sued.
i have done it on cockers and i could do it on a mag i dont have pics or a vid right now. but i can get them. but its not like a pnuematic frame at all. when the trigger is tapped (very very lightly) a valve sucks the trigger pack by it self and release the sear. then the valve cycles back and push the trigger forward again. it is completely legal and is very fast. you can also adjust the point where the air valve helps with the trigger. but it has my 01 rightfeed cocker running 16+ bps.
AGD sat on 1980's technology for way too long & has been left in the dust. I was a very early and happy Mag owner when only Mags & Cockers ruled the day. Since then there has been no clean sheet gun. Sure the RT & Emag came along but the rest of the industry was going electro. People like me have left Mags & purchase a new Angel every year. Bottom line, if you do not move forward & force change you will get left behind. AGD needs to look at a clean sheet electro gun if it wants to be around a few years from now. Forget buying an electro frame for the same outdated blender.
