Well worth $150 IMHO. Even if it does have the LP spring you can buy the HP one fairly cheap. Like others said however, if he's using it at 500psi it probably has the HP spring because that would be REALLY pushing the max output of the LP spring.
Is this a Max Flow?

I don't see a popoff on it in any of those pictures, and he said he tested it at 500psi, so those two bits tell you that it has an HP manifold. If it had the LP manifold, and the HP spring, you'd still not get over about 350-400 psi out of it, at the most.
And if, for some magical reason, it turns out to be an LP housing, you pop that whole lower tube out of the reg, and exchange it for the HP version, for ~$50 or $60 IIRC. I've done it to three or four MaxFlos (including the one I use now), and you see no difference between one that's been converted, and one that was shipped HP. The parts are all the same, it takes about 15 mins to accomplish.
$150 is a pretty good deal too, especially if the bottle hasn't been retested yet (IE still in its first window).

The poppet I was talking about is under the fill nipple but after a quick bit of looking around sorry that is the burst disk...I was getting confused but then I have only the two Max-flo's a 3000 LP old old style and the current version HP to compare to.Comment
