I am 25 and have been playing since I was 12. The first guns i can remember using were the Splatmaster, RazorBack III, F-1 and the ever popular VM-68. I even played with those silly Gotcha guns from the mid 80's.
I didn't get a mag until I was about 22, but I have been hooked since.
And yes it is a shame that nowadays parents throw money at their kids so gleefully, yet whine about them being brats. Paradox, eh?

Man, I can't believe the number of Young girls on this sight. To bad there aren't any aroung here. I just turned 16 and so far it sucks. I should be getting my license soon though. Its good to see people around here actually work hard for the money to buy there stuff with. Keep it up.I have no Sig.

im 14, goin on 15 real soon. i bust my butt working 8-9 hr days gettin money for paintball! thats dedication! i have a really nice mag setup i payed for with ALL of my own money and im proud

i'm only 16, I've been playing for a little over 4 years now. I put a LOT of time into paintball. When i was 12 me and 4 friends all asked for and got tigersharks for christmas to play in the woods. I've been hooked ever since(tigershark lasted about a month and f-4 illistrator lasted almost a year, mag still hasn't gotten old) I just upgraded my retro mag to an e-mag, so much for getting a car.Last edited by mag59459; 11-29-2001, 08:48 PM.Comment

IMO , I think paintball is a stepping game.. I started with a Spyder, then as I grew more informed , i got a better gun and so on till I found a gun that WORKED for me , instead of a flashy gun... These kids with angels cannot possibly know anything about the technical point of paintball, they are all hype , and I think paintball is starting to suffer cause of it. Every time these kids get "high end" markers , the skip the paintball evolution, soon they will skip rec ball and want to just play flashy tourney...
I'm not saying tourneys are bad.. just think it's something that should be worked towards, same goes with markers.. if you get a angel right off the bat , you skip the fundamentals that are required to appreciate paintball.
I'm 22 and I have still alot to learn.. i'd like to meet the kid that was born from paintball , the "Paintball God" born with all the knowledge and skill of the top tourney players...Angel LCD
