I'm 36, and have been playing on and off for 10 years, began playing back in 1990 with a PGP 12 gram. Graduated up to an autotrigger Razorback III, from there to a 68 carbine, to my now current RT pro.

Couldn't start with anything less than a Mag. Couldn't start with anything more complicated than a Mag either. Couldn't start with anything uglier than a Eclipse mag.

Experience? Well... I am a beginner. Studied a lot and watched for a few months then got on out there just in the last few months. Also doing it to have something in common with my Son who is 14 years old, almost 15. It's hard to have things in common with you younger guys so, in my case, I do what he wants rather than what I want sometimes. I really, really don't want to lose touch with him at this stage in his life and hey! I am enjoying it. I even enjoy sittin on the tailgate watchin what's going on as much as playing sometimes. I am laid back about it but, hey, that's just me at this point in my life.

Also I just love high tech stuff of any kind and can't be satisfied until I have the best. Know what kind of Guitar I have? A $2000 Martin Vintage D18. Mower? A Snapper of course! Garden tiller? Troy Built!! And it goes on and on. See what I mean? Only the best for me.

So hence the AGD Automag. A beautifully simple yet complex work of art and craftsmanship and with great customer service to boot!!. What else is there I ask? (rhetorical question, don't answer)

Can I afford this stuff? Well...no...not really... but... I want it. So I sacrifice for it. You only go around once in life so enjoy it as much as you can ... I always say.

Damn A lot of people REPLIED to this one....Im 24, no wait im 15 playing for a year. I Had Spyder compact 2000 and then i decided to sell it casue I saw MANY people with mags and I said "DAMN I WOULD LOOK COOL WITH ONE OF THOSE IN MY HAND!" I live in Maine, I have played Paintball With XSPYX and me and him are on team together.

Considering everyone else online has replied to this, I was just like "why not." Anyway, I'm 16, getting my driver's soon, which is good since I can lock my gear in my truck cuz everyone I play with tends to "borrow" each other's stuff.I've been playing about 3 years now and have had an automag 4 about 2. ALL of my friends use tippmanns, I'm the only 1 with a mag . 2 guys actually sold their automags and bought m98s! One actually thought his mag froze on nitrogen. The other, well, I'm not gonna get started with him. One 8th grader painted his hopper and mask yellow, and he did a GREAT job let me tell ya! Not everyone I play with is stupid, some of them are pretty good(a little TOO good, one hates getting put out and will wipe if U don't spot him). It's pretty funny though shooting all the little 8th graders when they call paint check. Hey, it's the same thing as shooting someone who is squeegeing their barrel, so don't think we're a bunch of cheaters, they deserve it when the whole team is hiding behind a log. My cousin, though, is an 8th grader and he's the only good one since he actually moves around. I remember when I first started there was only like 4 other people in the whole school playing and the best gun we had was a Stingray. Now, 3 years later after Christmas, half the school has Model 98s.

18 here,been playn for about 3-4 years. started with talon, bought tigershark, bought rapter, bought dimond gt, then bought my mag. the evalution of it does make you appritiat the greatness of a mag!!! workn on an e-mag now. allways have and still do pay for all my stuff, my parents looked at the price and wonder why i'm not saving for collage.lol

Well, I'm glad to see I'm not the oldest kid playing 'ball. I'm 34, been playing since '91. My first 'gun was a auto-trigger cobra pump(still got it too!). I got my 'mag in '95 and just got a MicroEmag. Hey DeerChaser-I remember tne 007s and Splatmasters. Oil based paint too! I don't miss spending $120 for a case of Zap, ugh. Anyone remember the Poison? How BAD was that 'gun!

im 14.. this is my story.. yeah i am lazy as hell with no motivation. BUT when it comes to geting some $$$, ill do almost anything. but babysitting some6 year olds that go to bed at 8 o' clock isnt fun... so i basicly have to wait for everything, almost every single paintball related item i own i got from christmas and my birthday... i have a mag 2. its a very nice and simple gun...i play up front, either tape line... sitting in the back is borring. yeah i get shot like 60 times every time i play.... but thats y we play right? to pop out and shoot people and then get lit up by the little dude with the rental.. very fun game tho...
