    The NEW System-X???

Recently we got offered a sponsorship deal through system-x. Basically we'd have to use/promote their gear of course.

Now whenever anyone hears "System-X" they automatically think of trash. But from what I've heard and read is that they are really starting to turn things around. I think they are trying to get out of the 'rec' mass production markers and into higher end stuff. I've also read that these markers are 'hand made', which I'm not exactly sure what that means I'll have to find where I read that at and post it.

For instance their new NME marker (at least half our team would have to be shooting these). Overall I think it looks OK, but I can't get over that its System-X. Aparently Avalanche turned down Empire and is now using System-X markers and gear. Also WAS made the boards for these things.

Of course for some of us in order to get this deal will have to pawn off our equipment, and use this stuff exclusively.

What do you all think? Think they have changed for the better?

Heres some info on the markers http://www.bradyspaintball.com/sxnme.html click any of the pics.

If they don't have the machines/engineering to make an lpr with an external hose, they are stupid. That is my biggest complaint with that gun. I don't see much wrong with those. Timmys shoot great, and how hard is it to copy a timmy?

FAR more important to you is how YOU view the equipment and how good a deal the sponsorship is.

You talk of "pawning off" you current equipment. So what's the sponsorship if not free equipment?

If it's reduced rate equipment, why bother? If it's free equipment, why not use it?

they had to make the external hose so it was different enough that they wouldn't get sued by Bob Long.

it really would depend on the sponsorship, if the benefits are good enough to offset the system X label, go for it, the NME may not be the greatest marker out, but, its not something that will slow down your performance.

NME shouldnt be a step down from what you use now. But i know what you meant by the System X rep. It will take them a while to change their rep. but im sure they could do it.

Just remember, sponsorships lead to sponsorships. Even if you have to sell your stuff for system x gear, if you get better they will sponsor you more, or better companies will pick you up.

Well I guess it looks like we're taking it.

I'm sure the markers will be fine its just a few of guys are worried because its System X, that the resale on these things (if they decide to sell eventually) will drop down the toilet.

I'm going to be sticking with my DM4 for a little while longer.

I tested the NME it is a very light and very fast marker.

The trigger guard is so exagerately big that a gorrilla can walk that trigger with no hassle.

Yes, it does have a giant trigger guard - which is liked by a few of our guys.

Does anyone have a APG subscription? Were these markers ever featured in an issue?

Avalanche does use it, but the Vice President of System X also plays for Avalanche.....
