Given the legal issues that precedes this, and the work to get it to this point, I think I can safely say, "Yes, you should start your diet NOW cause it ain't gonna be cheap."Originally posted by sabrefanpchey jay, dont guess you have a rough price estimate? should I start the ramen noodle diet now or can I wait a few months?

oh, and i have 2 questions for you RRfireblade
1) now when i order my mag, will it have the PTP m 16 handle built in or is that an option? if not, will you at least make the mag PTP friendly....so when i strip my uber tournament lvl tippmann 98 with all my PTP m 16 parts ill have a new killer gun to put them on?
2) now, more importantly. the stock barrel. of course it will be rifeled (we all know how much of an advantage PTP gave the paintball world when they started pushing their rifeled barrels) but i would like to have a silencer built into mine. now, i know that everybody wants a silencer on their marker, but i must have mine first!!!

Rifling does nothing to improve paintball accuracy. It's been tested and proven, you cannot impart spin along that axis to increase accuracy. There's no physical way of spinning the paintball up to the speeds it requires, and the fact that the fill is not part of the shell and won't spin also kills the theory.
If you live in the united states, a silencer is a controlled item. You need to get a permit, which involves quite a bit of paperwork, and pay a $200/year fine to legally own one. That's why you don't see any paintball marker silencers on the market at all - they're illegal.Comment

rifled barrels - at least the PTP-Armson ones - DO improve accuracy.
If you read the literature, NO ONE ever said that they impart 'spin'. (SSR's have straight rifling, and they improve accuracy, so there goes the 'spin' contention out the window.)
Properly made rifling for paintball barrels (definition of properly made = progressive polygonal rifling) create more surface area for the ball to seal against and help to reduce and minimize ball wobble and bounce down the barrel.VENGEANCE PAINTBALL DISTRIBUTORS

Since we're only talking about a grip frame here I'll go ahead and tolerate your complete lack of reading comprehension skills and extrapolate from your question the assumpion of a complete marker to follow as a future product possibiblty:
1) As soon as AGD starts selling one tenth of the number of markers TPI does, we will build them however the heck you want them...carry handles,stocks,Bi-pods,fake magazines..what ever floats your boat.
2) Yes, Armson rifled barrels are still just as accurate as they ever were,if you want one we can satisfy any demend that you may have for them.
2.1) As soon as you provide a copy of your paid and currnet Federal Tax Stamp, legally authorized and and signed by an approving local municipally and providing you don't live in one of the 16( last time I checked) states that don't allow private ownership of silencers of any kind...then sure, NP.
See, I get sarcasm.

... LOW BLOW
You notice you avoid giving out details of this great accuracy. My .70 corrugated pipe barrel is just as accurate as it ever was... yep still sucksOriginally posted by RRfireblade2) Yes, Armson rifled barrels are still just as accurate as they ever were,if you want one we can satisfy any demend that you may have for them.
