AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
This topic has been brought up repeatedly, over and over and over. The general consensus is that AGD won't be coming anything new in the immediate future. If you look around both here and Friendly Corner, you'll find multiple threads discussing this issue.
God....I guess I was probably returning videotapes.
I thoght the whole reason AGD got out of the elctro business were the potential complications of other companyies enforcing patents against the designs..
On topic though - I would love to see AGD put out something to compete with the ION. I just don't see how they can do that without sacrificing the production statndards that has made the company what it is.
well yes it would be nice if agd came out with something that would boost them back into the market, but if you have the money you can have a mag that keeps up with all. $$$$$$$$.
Threads are brought up all the time, again, and again. what can you do.
Hey guys what about the, "help me pick a new marker threads" or the, "why a mag" threads and so forth. Everything is old news here at AO! There hasn't been anything from AGD to talk about since Tom left. Before that, "the end of electros". This is my thread and my poll. A simple yes or no. The dust has settled and isn't it time for something new? And as I write this 75% says, "yes"...
I would love to see them releasing new electro markers. I wouldn't like to see them release a new version every year though, like some of the other electro marker manufacturers. I guess I do have to wonder how much more they can change on an electro though before they are just going in circles.
i still would like AGD to create an Aluminum Classic Valve. This could drop prises for a low end AGD marker and apeal to the lower end market, like WGP's trilogy and SP's ION have recently.
