I don't think the prices would drop, I think they would rise. Besides, what's wrong with the current design of classic valves? Each of my classics hands down kick the butts of my Xvalves when it came to consistency.

And no, they wouldn't compete with the ION's, becase the IONs are fast.

Now, what you could do is to make the classic valves take ULT, the slap on an electro frame. But, then you wouldn't want Al, because it would take down consistency (faster valve-->higher air flow-->varying tempatures-->metal contraction/expansion-->tolerance discrepancies-->consistency issues). That's how I see it, anyway.

I believe there is an on/off assembly that would in effect make an X-valve function as a classic. My understanding (correct me if I'm wrong) is that the valve/reg combo cannot be machined to the specifications for a price that would allow for sale in the range of the trilogy. ion etc. thus AGD will continue to focus on serious rec and scenario players.

I believe that they should look at an entry to mid level electro marker. We dont really need another $1200 mag.

you want AGD to make something to compete with the Ion? the BKO? and do you want them to make it electro? Its not happening. AGD doesnt outsource and keep their tolerances at a level that it costs far to be able to retail guns under 300. Now if AGD outsourced and dropped their tolerances just allitle they COULD retail lower. However it seems that most mag users want tolerances to stay and keep the work in the US.

From what I have witnessed their tolerances have gone down hill already. The old RT is tighter than the RTP custom we got last year. As for keeping the work in the US. They got the Xmag bodys from AGDE. That isn't America. They did it once they can do it again. Ola from AGD Mexico! As long as they bring us new stuff that works!
