So do you like the RT rail with the built in snatch grip or the AM rail with the rogue snatch grip better?

And what kind of barrel is that in the movie?

Barrel in the movie is a Dye Ultralight. It's the old style and has been through a lot but still shoots great. I liked Luke's Milled rail a lot and wish I could have kept it, but it didn't fit the hyperframe well cause it was a flat bottom and the hyperframe has wings. The Rogue snatch grip is longer and you can get 2 fingers on it, but the one that Luke milled into the rail was really nice and felt solid cause it was part of the rail. I'd take the Luke RT rail over the Luke ULE AM rail, but it doesn't work as well on the hyperframe.

Ok I have the need for some cash and I'm debating to sell or part out the Noisy Cricket. What price do you think I could put on this gun as a whole? I was thinking close to $500. Think that's fair?

Hey sk8ermog,

That rail you have that's all "squarey" with the snatch grip milled in, is that a luke rail. Where can I get it? I looked in the dealers forum and can't find even thought I'm sure I've seen it there before. Could you post a link to it if it's convenient?

I've put about $600 into it and I've put many hours of work into getting it just right. I already sold off most of my other gear and I'll be having a large sale coming up where I'll probly post the gun or part it out. Don't know prices yet so don't ask. I was thinking $500 for just gun. I don't have the stiffi anymore and it has a different rail now and looks a little different, but works so much better then with the RT rail. Not cause of Luke or anything like that. It's just that the hyperframe really like winged rails to sit on instead of the RT flat bottomed rails. I'll post new pictures in a few days.


SummaryJudgement: Yeah Luke made the rail and you'll find it on that link AGDlover posted. Just send Luke your RT or other rail and tell him what you had in mind and he'll mill it and powdercoat it. Looks really nice when you get it back. I really miss mine, but had no real use for it.

The RT rail doesn't work as well as I'd like on my hyperframe cause the frame has wings and the rail doesn't so there is a small gap

The hyperframe pannels where milled by luke awhile ago when I had my Noisy Cricket . I loved them so much that I kept them even when I moved down to SoCal.
