It is once again time to play that game you all heard of but never got to try...Thermo...Nuclear...SERVER!!
We spent the big money on the super server for this site. John and the guys at Delaware.net have dual fiber T3 sewer pipes out to the net. John assures me it can take anything we can throw at it. LETS FIND OUT!!!
We are going to do this in two stages. First stage is at 8:00 pm central time this Wednesday. Everyone loads up a post and gets it ready to go 5 to 10 minutes before that. The post should just need you to click the submit button and it will go under the "Hydrogen Bomb" thread I will post earlier that day. At 8:00 pm central time everyone clicks the submit button and posts just one thread. We will lock down the chat room for a count down and see what happens. If the server crashes we go home for the night. If it doesn't we go on to stage two!
In stage two we wait until 8:30 with another post locked and loaded. At that time you hit submit again but the difference is you hit the back button and do it again several times. This should flood the server with an earth shattering explosion of posts and give it a good test.
If we really blow the thing to pieces it might take a couple days to get it back on line. Inquiring minds want to know. This is legit and not a joke post.
