older style trixes are great. with the tadao 5.0 board and m3 it will rip nearly as fast if not as fast as a dm4. also with the new dye regs that are clones of aka's the consitansy is great. plus with mods like the getto top hat, spacer, back plug and c4 you can increase the martixes effeciency by a couple of pods for under 50 bucks. you could also buy a full bolt kit like the evolve which claims to get well over 2000 shots from a 68/4500 fill but i have heard mixed reveiews on how much it actually increases effeciencey. For the price older matrixes are great i would seriously look into buying a used one off of the b/s/t fourms here at automags or at pbnation because you can get one with a good board for around 600.

Proto's are pretty sweet. They have alomost no kick. I'd buy one but I am into shockers. I love the single tube design and profile. Its like a Mag on alot of steroids. You can find them new for around 700 with ramping boards and vision.

Im sorry man i get way more than 5-6 pods with my proto. I have an olive proto, with the new hybrid back plug top hat mod. It shoots ropes, havent had a problem with it yet.

yes, with the new hybrid tophat mod, you will get more efficiency, and the proto is slightly more efficient as it is due to the higher pressure and smaller chamber. But, in reality, you can push it and tune your regs to get 7 and a halo off any non modded trix. I shoot a dm5 remember?

Sorry magman not a lie. Why the heck would I? I don't know what your setting are but My gun is very efficent.
