Does he work with li-poly batteries? They have special charging requirements.

I couldn't stand the uglyass heavy battery, why I sold my Emag cheap.Originally posted by hitechDo you know how much the eMag battery weighs? This would save more weight that the xValve. How many people thought the weight savings was worth it then?[Something Cool is Here]Comment

Okay, I shouldn't try and do this from work...
Using the PQ3S-600 instead we would have slightly less capacity (600 vs 650). Considering the voltage curve is probably better and the initial voltage would start slightly higher the usable capacity should match or exceed the eMags battery.
The weight of this cell is 44 grams (X2 = 88 grams). The battery weight would be 3.1 oz.
I found data on AAA nimh cells that weigh 12 grams (X14 = 168 grams). So, the weight of the eMag battery should be 5.9 oz (doesn't seem right, but hey, that's what the numbers I found claim). So, the weight savings is a little less than 4 oz.
However, that matches (or beats) the weight savings for an xValve.
The weights for the AAA cells don't seem right, but until I can find something with different numbers...

EDIT: With a little less capacity we could get the weight down to 2.3 oz.

I love the way the battery pack for the the E-Mag looks and more importantly, feels. Of course I've got big hands so smaller doesn't = better.
There's no way I'd spent the cash for two of those batteries to save a few ounces. IMHO you'd have to have to have little girly arms and tons of cash to make it worth it."Relax. Don't worry. Have a Home Brew."

Those batteries could be used as is in the existing eMag battery pack. That's good for those of us who like it.
Li-poly batteries can be made in varying shapes. Customed shaped batteries could be made that would easily fit in a round fore-grip. At only 1.5 inches wide, they would fit in some existing round fore-grips.

You are forgetting someone or something...
Just talk to Rogue and see if he will make you some "stubby" e-mag foregrips...
If you could get the battery idea off the ground I would hazard a guess that he might be interested...Comment
