AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
Paint prices around here have dropped about 5 bucks on average since last year. Was just at my local sore last week. Seems odd to me that they would drop the price just to raise it back up.
its oil and normal seasonal fluctuation in pricing.
Oil/fuel costs affect everything along the line - raw materials for paintballs, paintball manufacturing, paintball packaging, shipping costs, electricity for the mfg and the store, etc., etc.
and an increase in shipping costs of 50 bucks per pallet is unrealistic - try an increase of 100 to 150 instead...with no end in site to the increases from shippers.
ok but dont you all think that b/c they have more dependents than just paint now that the company could raise the prices of paint with out hurting themselves. an dwhat one company does the rest would b/c there thinkin "hmmmmm they can get a way with it so can we." so then it's like a chain recation ...... food for thought .......
