You can hardly call Bolingbrook Chicago... They should do it in Grant Park. Hell, Lincoln Park for all I care. They'd get a butt load more spectators and media coverage. Paintball as an industry is stagnating. But I digress.

Not this week they wouldn't... Taste of chicago man!

I spent 225 bucks total. That was for entry, paint(with 25 cases left over for practice, so no need to buy paint for practice for 3 weeks or so), appa id card, and we bought 70 pods. We had a pretty good showing, we played both our games hard and faced two very good teams. We are going to be making some team changes and hope to win much more in Orlando.

well i just got back from the Chi open and it was alot of fun. i took tons of pictures, and it was very hot out. the billboard said it was 98 and was very sunny. i was watching my friends that play for Team Resistance. they have a record of 7-1 and have 694 points out of 800 in Div III 5 man. here are some pics that i took of them.

then the last game they played empress, and they owned them.

later in the day we watched dynasty

^^Ryan Greenspan talking to ???? after getting pulled for having an illegal gun. we heard him shooting it and it was going WAY to fast. the refs checked it and it was shooting 26 bps. he had to sit that whole game and watched. dynasty still won that game that Ryan got pulled.

5 man div3. infidel 3, 7-1 with a 40 point penalty.. lol

will see how semis and finals go tomarrow.

We lost First game against zero, after the first half we were down 5-1. We changed up our lines and only put 2 of our 3 lines in and battled back to 6-5 them winning. We lost the 6-5 game in a close 1 on 1. We ended up losing 7-5. We learned much this game such as losing 3 on 1's and 2 on 1's really screw you over.

Next game was against University of Illinois. There team was made up of about half illinois players and half torq players. We knew it was going to be a tough game but we changed up our lines and knew we had to start off strong. After the first half it was 4-3 I believe. They scored 2 straight at the beginning of the 2nd half making it 6-3. Time was another comeback. Right after their last point they got a 4 minute major penalty for having a gun that was shooting too hot and too fast. So they were down a player for the majority of the game. We scored 2 points making the score 6-5 with about 2 minutes left. Haven't we been in this situation before? All hell broke lose for the start of this game. Off the break we sent one guy straight snake and one guy straight doritos. Me and another teammate stayed back center and laned. I fire 3 shots and my gun won't shoot. Halo won't feed. So I rip drive it for a little bit and eventually get shot. Our snake guy on the dive in cracks his halo in 2 so he's hand feeding the balls, not much help at all. Our back left made a stupid move to get shot out and it all fell apart. 2005 chicago open for team never=over. We hope to do much much better at world cup.

paint hbas been sticking together all weekend.. in the hottest weekened i have seen in chicago in a long time.

more then once my balls were stuck together in my hopper and wolldnt fall into the cone.. rip drive wont help there..
