Doesn't this gun remain blow-forward? I always thought the blow forward, single-tube design is the primary design feature of the 'mag, rather than its valve. Although others have come since, it doesn't change this.

I personally refuse to change the valve in my Automag, since that's what makes it an Automag in the first place. Do we know if it will be as reliable as an Automag?

EDIT: by change the valve i mean replace it with a non-AGD made valve

The Cocker valve flawlessly went through over 250,000 cycle without upkeep and was only changed because of an upgrade in design.

That's like not lubing your gun for 125 cases.

According to the last news I heard it will be a drop in, but you WILL need an electro frame of some sort to operate it. Last I heard was that PBX would come out with a frame similar to the cocker one and sell it in a package with the valve.

Also from my understanding ANY electro frame for the automag will work with the mQ valve. Because all you need is to connect it to where the solinoid usually is connected.

To me this sounds like an amazing thing. Even if it will make it something that is not an Automag, I will still enjoy it. Now that I know this will be moving forward, I think I will completly forget about the p-mag upgrade...this to me is just a lot better.

Also at one point someone (I think it was PBX Ronin 23) said this would maybe fall in the range of $500 for the valve, and frame. That price alone would be worth it to me...because if you think about it, you are spending about $200 on the valve (just like a used x-valve), and $300 on the frame (just like emag lowers), and are getting a much more consistent valve that is millable (woo hoo!) and anoable (not that the x-valves arn't, but I'm sure everyone has heard it has a high risk factor or something like that involved).

I don't think I have anything else to say, and either Roning or Dayspring please correct me if I am wrong with any of my information.

The only down falls I see with this product are, first it technically isn't a mag anymore. Second it theoretically could make it very easy to ramp velocity if you can make software for the board.

it could also put AGD out of business for good.

mQ valve is a valve that does not have an on/off. It is electronically controlled by an electro frame. It is supposed to be super reliable, adjustable, and have amazing performance.

And Mad...I don't think so, unless AGD makes something miraculous that a lot of people accept as the next best thing; I think they are allready digging their own grave. No offence but that is how I feel. And if you disagree with me, this is not the place to say so.

But then again really one of the only things AGD exclusivly makes is their valves...a point to ponder.

Havn't been on line for months. I was trying to find out if the cocker version was available yet. I wasn't able to get on PBXbattlezone.com, so I searched here. Sorry if this has already been adressed.

damn that sounds amazing. Mag owners shouldnt get bent out of shape saying this is no longer a mag, of course it is, its just heavily modified. An mq e-cocker is the same thing, all thats left stock is the body, and most of the time its not even the stock wgp body at that point, has that put them out of buisness? Its also very expensive, not everyone will want to dish out 500 instead of getting a cheap used xvalve, ive never shot a devil mag, but they always looked freakin sweet, but this should be much better, more efficiency, probably less kick, insane rof w/ e2, this could make a mag one of the best, if not the best guns on the market

An Automag mQvalve? I must not be paying attention, 'cause that's news to me. Anyway, it's not going to put AGD out of business. Think about this for a minute. AGD is starting to market to the woodsball scene - guys who like reliable, affordable mech markers. How much are they really going to spend to go electro? Not a whole lot. AGD'll lose a fair chunk of the tourny crowd - oh, right. When's the last time you've seen a pro player with an Automag? And before anyone starts flaming me about this, I'm not saying the 'mag isn't a capable tourny gun, just that it isn't a commonly used tourny gun.

I will, however, be interested to see if the 'mag mQvalve brings the tourny scene's attention back to the 'mag. That'd be interesting. Any word on the price of this? $500 sounds a little high, being that the 'cocker version is $125 or so...

This is good enough that i would drop any of my guns to get my hands on one of these with a predator and eyes.
