Hah, no, I didn't notice. I rarely check dates, and just assume that anything on the first page is new enough to reply to... Still, I never heard of an Automag mQvalve. What the hell's up with that?

I think its due to lots of new members over here...Theres been quite an influx

unfortuneately, Mel hasn't made any plans for a mainstream mag conversion. Or so I've been told

you know, i've been thinking about this ever since i read about it last year (and i'm pretty sure it got mentioned somewhere, but i'm not sure). If they can make an mqvalve that works like an automag valve (ie, it has the moving bolt, valve and reg in a single unit), why not just build a completely custom "PBX super marker". they just need to find/build the smallest board they can (maybe a modified predator or Emag board? if it weren't for the huge LED display, the emag board would be pretty damn small)

that way they can do things like posittion the valve so that the hopper sits in the most balanced position, or route the gas straight through the grip frame rather than a foregrip (if AGD can fit a solenoid the size of my thumb in there, then i'm sure you can fit a macroline and a couple of fittings in the same space).

There's some pictures of an inline MQ valve in there. Pretty nice.

it doesn't have an inline reg, but it still looks cool.
