i'd say its more like a spyder than a timmy. the mag uses a sear and so does a spyder. thats about the only resemblance.

The closest thing to a mag is a freestyle...And even that is kinda off.....
You can sweet spot it, so you pull the trigger *sort of* every time, but it's more like just trying to hold the trigger back....Not like a full auto where you just hold back...
And wow, automaggot68 is just getting rediculous

A spyder works more like a timmy than a mag does either.. or thats what I always thought... I suppose I could be wrong."Great stories! See everyone, just buy a Sydarm and become a paintball superstar!! "

A spyder is a spring driven Timmy. A timmy is a pneumatic-ram powered spyder. I think
If you look at it correctly a Timmy and Spyder are both stacked tube markers. A Mag is an inline marker. Also a mag used a valve system that doesn't involve a hammer. It just has the bolt move forward by air pressure 'till it releases its air out the barrel. As before mentioned a mag is more like a freestyle
A Mag
A freestyle

The mag is a "blow forward" design while the spyder is a "blow back". The spyder uses pressure to recock the marker while the mag uses the return spring. The Timmy is more spyder like than a mag but it uses an air ram to move the bolt both forward & back. Neither marker is like a mag. Hope this helps.:hail: AGD :hail: CCI :hail:
