    Source Code FAQ

I get contacted a lot about this stuff, so I'm going to make a thread that I can just refer people to when they ask.

    Q. How do I make my own paintball gun software?
    A. For starters, learn programming fundamentals. You can take classes or try to learn on your own using info from the Internet or a bookstore. Afterwards, it's a matter of figuring out how to work with programmable microcontrollers...

    Q. I am a programmer... and/or I have qualifications XYZ. Can I have your code?
    A. If you can write your own code, you have no need for mine.

    Q. Can I have portions of it?
    A. No.

    Q. What language do I need to use?
    A. Assembly or whatever compiled languages are available for that chip.

    Q. How long does it take to write?
    A. Depends on what you want it to do. You could make something that's good enough to play with in maybe a couple hours. Something with a healthy set of features... maybe a week... give or take.

Tom was the last of a now extinct breed, a breed of players who build a community, a breed of owners who gave to the sport never taking more than what they deserved. I hope to see you at the feild again some day....

Take off the left grip panel and yell loudly into the hidden microphone... make sure you call out the correct color and number of blinks, the settings are the same as a Tadao M5 chip.
Go to Backwoods Paintball in Harriman, TN: Near Lenoir City, Knoxville, and Oak Ridge

Go to the Team Backwoods website, or else you'll get cancer.

And these use AI so they can adapt to your playing style and conditions right?

Of course! How would you feed at 76bps otherwise?
