Fair enough. I can't imagine the guy selling them would get more than $100 or so a day and you'd make that with one sale. As neither of us know their details we probably will just have to agree to disagree which really isn't that big of a deal because it's nothing to do with us anyway.

So looks like it's true. Unfortunately for me my store owner friend didn't grab 'em while he had the chance. 3.2 or not, I'd take an emag for $200 any day. Heck, i'd take 3 of 'em.

I just assume you have never worked in a large company. Everything has a process. The reason for this process is so they know what to expect cost wise. If they wanted to sell those on ebay, that would have required multiple meetings, some ones time to figure out the logistics, someone to research the best way to sell them on ebay, someone to post them on ebay. Someone to answer questions from portential buyers, someone to enter all the information into their shipping system to ship out one package.

They might have made $300 per gun, but they would have spent $400 trying to do it.

It appears there is a question as to whether new Emags are still being built? The answer is yes, they are.

How big is PMI or national? Some of the points you guys make are true, however I dont think they hold any weight in this sistuation. What is cost on an Emag 4-600 dollars? I dont see any paintball company taking a 3-500 dollar loss per unit just to free up inventory.

At the end of the day we will never know what happens behind the Wizard's curten in paintball. AGD could be selling products to big distro's for 1/10th of the cost they sell to thier dealers. All this tells me is that AGD made a hell of alot more money than I previously thought.

wait wait wait......I thought agd was no longer making the emags. I even heard this from Mr Tom himself because he was saying they had enough parts to put together about 20-30 more emags at the most, but after that they are finished. This was last year.

No, all it tells you is that maybe AGD was losing money on selling to the big distributors. Has AGD made money? I would surly hope so. Did they make enough to beable to corner the market? Nope, I don't think so.

That being said, I would assume that there would be different dealer tiers. I would assume that a company like PMI, NPS, Smart Parts (back when they were a distributor) got better deals on guns than say your local field. But to say that AGD was raking in the money with the Emag, I would be shocked.

                    Watch the rumors start:

Maybe AGD is coming out with something new, and has it nearly ready to market. They want PMI to help them bring it to market and as such warned them to sell of old stock, and cut them a discount on something new to do it.

as for the add i heard it was a simple MISPRINT, however they ha to sell them at the advertised price and took a losss

since the "buyer" in question isnt here with proof or selling super cheap e-mags im calling shesn for know

i heard the first person that was shown the deal bough the entire lot(ss lvl7) for $99 a piece.

                      so...

as for clearing inventory, looks like agd is going into hyybernation mdoe, where theyr gonna probly get rid of everything except ule customs, and aprts kits, and older maintenance parts..i wouldnt be surprised to see warps feeds be dicontinued as well, since theyr already almost being given away..

btw AGD is still making e-mags..dont tell SP

also if agd decides to clear e-mags at a nice $500~ or less LMK!

Black ULE CF Emags are on sale right now to both retail and dealer customers. See our store; dealers should call.

The deal was real. It was the last 6 E-Mags that they had. The first guy that called bought all six. That was straight from PMI. And NO, I don't know who got them.
